Amir directs creation of 10,000 more jobs for Jordanians

Amman: Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and H M King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan held on Sunday an official talks session that dealt with the strong bilateral relations and the means to enhance them, in addition to the latest developments in the region.
During the session, which was held at Al Husseiniya Palace in Amman, H H the Amir and H M King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein expressed their satisfaction with the growth of bilateral ties, and stressed their commitment to advancing it further in all fields, particularly the economic and investment fields. The two sides stressed the importance of activating the Qatar-Jordanian supreme joint committee, and enhancing cooperation in the fields of energy, infrastructure, and higher education. The University of Jordan will provide a number of academic courses under Lusail University’s umbrella, in addition to the exchange of expertise and training that will be carried as part of the preparations for hosting the FIFA 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
H H the Amir directed the creation of 10,000 job opportunities in Qatar for Jordanian nationals, in addition to the 10,000 job opportunities that were announced in August 2018, the opening of a center in Jordan to facilitate the process, and the support of the Jordanian military retirement fund with $30 million.
The talks also dealt with a number of regional and international issues of joint interest, led by the Palestinian issue. The two leaders stressed the importance of supporting the Palestinian people in obtaining their legitimate rights and to establish their own independent state on the borders of 1967 with East Al Quds as its capital, and stressed on the importance of reaching political resolutions to the crises facing the region in order to maintain stability and security.
The session was attended by members of the official delegation accompanying H H the Amir. It was attended on the Jordanian side by President of the Jordan Football Association
H H Prince Ali bin Al Hussein, H E Prime Minister Dr. Omar Razzaz, and a number of their excellencies ministers, advisors at the Royal Hashemite Court, and ranking military officials.

عقد حضرة صاحب السمو الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني أمير البلاد المفدى، وأخوه جلالة الملك عبدالله الثاني ابن الحسين ملك المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية الشقيقة جلسة مباحثات رسمية مساء اليوم، تناولت العلاقات الثنائية الوطيدة بين البلدين الشقيقين وسبل دعمها وتعزيزها، بالإضافة إلى آخر تطورات الأوضاع في المنطقة.
وخلال جلسة المباحثات التي عقدت في قصر الحسينية بالعاصمة الأردنية عمان، أعرب سمو الأمير المفدى وجلالة الملك عبدالله الثاني ابن الحسين عن ارتياحهما لما تشهده العلاقات الأخوية بين البلدين الشقيقين من تطور ونماء، وأكدا حرصهما على الارتقاء بها وتعزيزها في شتى المجالات لاسيما الاقتصادية والاستثمارية، كما أكدا على أهمية تفعيل اللجنة العليا القطرية الأردنية المشتركة، وعلى تعزيز التعاون المشترك وبالأخص في مجالات الطاقة والبنية التحتية، والتعليم العالي حيث ستقدم الجامعة الأردنية برامج في تخصصات مختلفة تحت مظلة جامعة لوسيل، إضافة إلى تبادل الخبرات والتدريب ضمن التحضيرات لبطولة كأس العالم FIFA قطر 2022.
ووجه سمو الأمير المفدى بتوفير عشرة آلاف فرصة عمل للأشقاء الأردنيين في قطر، بالإضافة إلى العشرة آلاف وظيفة التي تم إعلانها سابقا في أغسطس 2018 وبفتح مركز في الأردن لتسهيل ذلك، وبدعم صندوق التقاعد العسكري الأردني بمبلغ ثلاثين مليون دولار أمريكي.
كما تناولت المباحثات عددا من القضايا الإقليمية والدولية ذات الاهتمام المشترك، وفي مقدمتها القضية الفلسطينية حيث أكد الزعيمان أهمية دعم الشعب الفلسطيني لنيل حقوقه الوطنية المشروعة وإقامة دولتهم المستقلة على حدود 1967 وعاصمتها القدس الشرقية. كما أكدا على أهمية التوصل إلى حلول سياسية للأزمات التي تواجهها المنطقة للحفاظ على أمنها واستقرارها.

وحضرها من الجانب الأردني، سمو الأمير علي ابن الحسين رئيس اتحاد الأردن لكرة القدم، ودولة الدكتور عمر الرزاز رئيس الوزراء، وعدد من أصحاب السعادة الوزراء والمستشارين بالديوان الملكي الأردني الهاشمي وعدد من كبار المسؤولين العسكريين.
