Minister of Public Health Meets with Director-General of World Health Organization

Geneva: HE Minister of Public Health Dr. Hanan Mohamed Al Kuwari, met with HE Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO) Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, on the sidelines of the launch ceremony of the “Healthy 2022 World Cup – Creating Legacy for Sport and Health” project at WHO headquarters in Geneva.
During the meeting, a number of important topics were discussed, most notably the partnership of the WHO and the State of Qatar in the field of health and sports and future plans, and the strategic dialogue between them scheduled for next November 15, in addition to the invitation of the WHO Director to participate in the opening of the Qatar Health Conference 2022.

جنيف: اجتمعت سعادة الدكتورة حنان محمد الكواري، وزيرة الصحة العامة، مع سعادة الدكتور تيدروس أدهانوم غيبريسوس، المدير العام لمنظمة الصحة العالمية، وذلك على هامش حفل إطلاق مشروع “بطولة كأس عالم صحية 2022 – خلق إرث للرياضة والصحة” بمقر المنظمة في جنيف.
جرى خلال الاجتماع مناقشة عدد من الموضوعات الهامة، من أبرزها شراكة منظمة الصحة العالمية ودولة قطر في مجال الصحة والرياضة والخطط المستقبلية، والحوار الاستراتيجي بينهما المقرر عقده في 15 نوفمبر المقبل، إلى جانب دعوة مدير منظمة الصحة العالمية للمشاركة في افتتاح مؤتمر صحة قطر 2022.
