More than 70 percent of preparation at Darb Al Saai for Qatar National Day over

DOHA: The Organizing Committee of the Qatar National Day 2019 celebration has completed more than 70 per cent of the preparations related to festivities at Darb Al Saai, the main venue of Qatar National Day celebrations. 

The celebration will begin on December 12.

During a visit to Darb Al Saai venue today, we noticed that the preparations are going on at a fast pace and many new entities will be participating for the first time this year. All tents have been fixed and major works done.

Among the important organisations participated in Darb Al Saai festivities last year were the Ministry of Interior, which had eight departments participating in the event, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Defense, Police College, Ministry of Education and Higher Education, and Ministry of Municipality and Environment.

The Organising Committee has allocated many parking spaces for visitors, including those with special needs. Nine gates have been allocated for entry into the venue. Signboards are also provided to guide the public.
