MoPH bans sale of Air Doctor product

الصحة تمنع بيع وتداول مُنتج Air doctor

The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has issued a circular instructing all pharmacies in the country to ban the sale and handling of Air Doctor product as it inaccurately claims to protect against airborne viruses and bacteria. The efficacy of the product has not been proven scientifically, the MoPH said. The product in question is also not licensed by any competent entity in Qatar, it added.

 أصدرت وزارة الصحة العامة تعميماً للصيدليات العاملة في دولة قطر بمنع بيع وتداول منتج «Air doctor» نظراً لاحتوائه على ادعاءات طبية غير دقيقة وغير مُثبتة علمياً بأنه يُستخدم للوقاية من الفيروسات والبكتيريا المنقولة عبر الهواء.

وأوضحت الوزارة، في بيان لها، أن المُنتج غير مرخص من أي جهة مختصة في دولة قطر.
