NASA Experts Warn: July This Year Could Be the Hottest in Millennia

Doha: Leading climate scientists at NASA have suggested that this July may be the hottest in the world for “hundreds, if not thousands of years.” They consider this year to be the warmest and predict that the next year will see a further rise in temperatures.
Throughout this month, record-breaking daily temperatures have been observed according to monitoring conducted by the European Union and the University of Maine. These observations are based on preliminary estimates using a combination of ground data and satellite information.
During a meeting organized by NASA with journalists, scientist Gavin Schmidt stated that despite minor differences in the results from various monitoring systems, the significant increase in temperatures is evident. This trend is likely to be reflected in more accurate monthly reports released by U.S. agencies later, according to Al Jazeera.
It is expected that this trend will continue due to the continued emission of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere.

وخلال لقاء نظمته وكالة ناسا مع الصحفيين، أكد العالم غافين شميدت أن الارتفاع الكبير في درجات الحرارة واضح تمامًا، على الرغم من اختلاف النتائج بين المراصد القليلة. ومن المتوقع أن يتم انعكاس هذا الاتجاه في التقارير الشهرية الأكثر دقة التي ستصدرها الوكالات الأميركية في وقت لاحق بحسب ما ذكرت الجزيرة.
ومن المتوقع أن يستمر هذا الاتجاه بسبب استمرار انبعاث الغازات الدفيئة في الغلاف الجوي.
