QC supports Kosovo’s Ministry of Health in fight against coronavirus

Qatar Charity (QC) is preparing a batch of equipment, which will be provided to the Ministry of Health of Kosovo to help it meet its needs in the fight against the coronavirus (COVID-19).
The assistance will be delivered in coordination with His Excellency the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Albania and Kosovo Ali bin Hamad Al-Marri.
The aid worth QR1.1m equaling $300,000, will include six ventilators, and 6,500 coronavirus testing kits, in addition to food baskets and protective items for poor families.
During the holy month of Ramadan, Qatar Charity, through its office in Pristina, distributed 2,800 food baskets, each containing the basic food supplies that are sufficient for a family for a whole month.
Besides, Qatar Charity has distributed 500 protective baskets that include sterilisation materials, hand sanitisers, cloth detergents, floor cleaners, gloves and masks. The food and protective baskets have benefited 3,300 households, easing the suffering of many families in need who were affected economically due to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic
While delivering the aid, all necessary precautionary measures were taken to protect public safety, and the assistance was delivered to beneficiaries’ homes to prevent gathering.
Mayors and beneficiaries thanked benefactors in Qatar for their symbiotic humanitarian gesture and the food and preventive assistance that they provided and they are about to provide, applauding Qatar Charity for delivering aid on time without any delay, especially in light of crises and dangers,.
The total cost of the projects, which are implemented by Qatar Charity during the blessed month of Ramadan in Kosovo, is over QR1.8m. These projects also include the distribution of the Eid clothing to orphans sponsored by Qatar Charity, and Zakat Al Fitr to needy families.
It is worth mentioning that Qatar Charity, with the support from benefactors in Qatar, aims to deliver health, preventive and food assistance to 380,000 people affected by the coronavirus inside and outside Qatar at a cost of up to QR60m, with 250,000 beneficiaries outside Qatar, at an estimated cost of QR40m.

تقوم «قطر الخيرية» بتجهيز دفعة معدات سوف تقدمها لوزارة الصحة الكوسوفية، من أجل مساعدتها على تلبية احتياجاتها لمواجهة فيروس كورونا «كوفيد – 19»، بتكلفة إجمالية تقدر بـ 1.1 مليون ريال (300 ألف دولار). تأتي هذه الخطوة بالتنسيق مع سعادة السيد على بن حمد المري سفير دولة قطر في ألبانيا وكوسوفا.
تشتمل المساعدة على 6 أجهزة تنفس صناعي، و6500 جهاز فحص الفيروس، فضلاً عن سلال غذائية، وسلال وقائية للأسر الفقيرة.
وعلى نحو متصل، ولتخفيف معاناة الكثير من الأسر ذات الحاجة التي تضررت معيشياً بسبب جائحة فيروس كورونا، قامت «قطر الخيرية» خلال شهر رمضان الكريم -ومن خلال مكتبها في بريشتينا- بتوزيع 2800 سلة غذائية، تحتوي كل منها على المواد التموينية الأساسية التي تكفي الأسرة شهراً كاملاً،إضافة إلى توزيع 500 سلة وقائية، تشتمل على مستلزمات صحية، تتضمن: مواد تعقيم، ومطهرات للأيدي، ومطهرات للأسطح، وقفازات، وكمامات، ليصل عدد المستفيدين 3300 أسرة.
البلديات المستفيدة
جرى التوزيع في كل من بلديات: برشتيناـ فوش كوسوفاـ فوشتريـ أسكندراي- فيتياـ شتيمياـ بوداييفاـ لبيان- أبوليتش، وبالتنسيق الكامل مع مسؤولين فيها، مع أخذ جميع الاحتياطات الوقائية اللازمة حفاظاً على السلامة العامة، بما في ذلك إيصال السلال لبيوت المستفيدين، منعاً للتجمع، والوقوع في مخاطر العدوى.
وقد توجه رؤساء البلديات والمستفيدون بالشكر والامتنان لأهل الخير في دولة قطر، على لفتتهم التكافلية الإنسانية والمساعدات الغذائية والوقائية التي قدموها، والتي هم بصدد تقديمها، وأثنوا على
«قطر الخيرية» لعدم تأخرها، خاصة في ظل الأزمات والمخاطر، داعين الله أن يحفظ قطر وأهلها من شر الأوبئة والأمراض.
ويبلغ إجمالي تكلفة المشاريع الرمضانية لـ «قطر الخيرية»، والتي تنفذ خلال شهر رمضان في كوسوفو ما يزيد عن 1.8 مليون ريال، وسيكون من ضمنها توزيع كسوة العيد على الأيتام المكفولين من «قطر الخيرية»، لإدخال السرور على قلوبهم، وزكاة الفطر للتوسعة على الأسر المحتاجة.
يذكر أن قطر الخيرية تستهدف -بدعم من أهل الخير في قطر- أن تقدم مساعدات صحية ووقائية وغذائية لصالح 380.000 شخص متضرر من فيروس كورونا داخل قطر وخارجها، خلال شهر رمضان المبارك، وبتكلفة تصل إلى 60 مليون ريال، منها مساعدات لـ 250.000 متضرر خارج قطر، وبتكلفة تقدر بـ 40 مليون ريال.
