MEC detects violations at several shops in Old Airport area
“الاقتصاد” تخالف عددا من المحال التجارية بمنطقة المطار القديم
DOHA: The Ministry of Economy and Commerce has carried out a surprise inspection campaign on a number of shops in a commercial complex located in the Old Airport area.
The campaign resulted in the seizure and issuing of 5 violations ranging from commercial license expiry, failure to meet the general and special requirements of shops, and failure to display commercial license visible inside the shop.
The Ministry said that the inspection campaigns, which included 72 shops to monitor shops and restaurants’ compliance with the laws and regulations governing the conduct of commercial activities, are within a package of initiatives launched by the Ministry on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.
The Ministry has intensified its inspection campaigns before and during the holy month of Ramadan as part of its keenness to regulate and monitor markets and commercial activities in the country and to monitor compliance with the laws and regulations governing the practice of commercial activities in order to control and detect violations and protect consumer rights.
The Ministry has urged all merchants and shopkeepers to abide by the laws and regulations of the commercial activities and called upon all citizens and residents to report any irregularities or violations related to registration and commercial licenses.
قامت وزارة الاقتصاد والتجارة بتنفيذ حملة تفتيشية مفاجئة على عدد من المحال التجارية بأحد المجمعات التجارية بمنطقة المطار القديم ، وذلك بهدف مراقبة التزام المحلات التجارية والمطاعم بالقوانين واللوائح المنظمة لممارسة الانشطة التجارية.
وتأتي هذه الحملات المكثفة ضمن باقة مبادرات وزارة الاقتصاد والتجارة التي أطلقتها بمناسبة شهر رمضان الفضيل تحت شعار “#اقل_من_الواجب”، حيث دأبت الوزارة على تكثيف الحملات التفتيشية قبيل وخلال شهر رمضان المبارك وذلك في إطار حرصها على تنظيم ومراقبة الأسواق والأنشطة التجارية بالدولة ، ومراقبة مدى الالتزام بالقوانين واللوائح المنظمة لممارسة الأنشطة التجارية بهدف ضبط المخالفات والكشف عن التجاوزات حفاظاً على حماية حقوق المستهلكين.
و أسفرت تلك الحملات التفتيشية التي شملت 72 محلا تجاريا عن ضبط وتحرير (5) مخالفات تنوعت ما بين إنتهاء صلاحية الرخصة التجارية، وعدم استيفاء الاشتراطات العامة والخاصة للمحلات التجارية، وعدم إبراز الرخصة التجارية أو تعليقها داخل المحل.
