Ministry of Education Announces Start of Registration for 5th Batch of QSTSS

Doha: The Ministry of Education and Higher Education announced the start of registration for the 5th batch of students at Qatar Science and Technology Secondary School for Boys (QSTSS) for the academic year 2022-2023, from Sunday until Feb. 24.
Registration can be made through the link: https://www.edu.gov.qa/ar/Pages/ServiceCatalog/StudentRegisteration.aspx, noting that registration will be limited to Qatari students currently enrolled in the eighth grade in government and international schools.
In a press statement, the Assistant Undersecretary for Educational Affairs at the Ministry of Education, Fawzia Abdulaziz Al Khater, said that Qatar Science and Technology Secondary School for Boys is a government school that offers a modern curriculum based on the integration of science, technology, engineering and mathematics in English for outstanding Qatari students, and includes grades 9-12.
She explained that applications are received from students currently enrolled in the eighth grade who will join the ninth grade in the academic year 2022-2023.
Al Khater called on outstanding Qatari students who wish to enroll in Qatar School of Science and Technology to seize this valuable opportunity. She noted that the school qualifies students to enroll and compete in prestigious universities to study related disciplines that serve the country’s knowledge economy, development trends and meet the requirements of the local and global labor market.
The registration requirements include that the student is a Qatari citizen, and not less than 80 percent in the last academic report, and have obtained 80 percent or above in mathematics, science, and English, and passes the admission test in English and mathematics and the personal interview.

الدوحة: أعلنت وزارة التربية والتعليم والتعليم العالي، عن فتح باب التسجيل للدفعة الخامسة بمدرسة قطر للعلوم والتكنولوجيا الثانوية بنين للعام الأكاديمي 2022 – 2023، اعتبارا من اليوم وحتى 24 فبراير المقبل.
ويمكن التسجيل من خلال الرابط: https://www.edu.gov.qa/ar/Pages/ServiceCatalog/StudentRegisteration.aspx، علما بأن التسجيل سيكون مقتصرا على الطلبة القطريين المسجلين بالصف الثامن حاليا بالمدارس الحكومية والدولية.
وقالت السيدة فوزية عبدالعزيز الخاطر وكيل الوزارة المساعد للشؤون التعليمية، في تصريح صحفي، إن مدرسة قطر للعلوم والتكنولوجيا الثانوية للبنين هي مدرسة حكومية تقدم منهجا حديثا يقوم على تكامل العلوم والتكنولوجيا والهندسة والرياضيات باللغة الإنجليزية للطلاب القطريين البنين المتفوقين، وتضم الصفوف من التاسع إلى الثاني عشر.
وأوضحت أنه يتم تلقي الطلبات من الطلاب المسجلين حاليا في الصف الثامن ممن سيلتحقون بالصف التاسع في العام الأكاديمي 2022 – 2023.
ودعت الخاطر الطلبة القطريين المتفوقين والراغبين في الالتحاق بمدرسة قطر للعلوم والتكنولوجيا إلى اغتنام هذه الفرصة القيمة، مشيرة إلى أن المدرسة تؤهل الطلبة للالتحاق والمنافسة في أفضل الجامعات العريقة لدراسة التخصصات ذات الصلة التي تخدم الاقتصاد المعرفي وتوجهات الدولة التنموية وتلبي متطلبات سوق العمل المحلية والعالمية.
جدير بالذكر أن شروط التسجيل تتضمن أن يكون الطالب قطري الجنسية، وألا تقل نسبته عن 80 بالمئة في آخر تقرير أكاديمي، وأن يكون حاصلا على نسبة 80 بالمئة فما فوق في مواد الرياضيات والعلوم واللغة الإنجليزية، وأن يجتاز اختبار القبول في اللغة الإنجليزية والرياضيات، إضافة لاجتياز المقابلة الشخصية.
