International Football Stars Praise Qatar’s Preparations to Host FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022

Doha: The former Dutch football star Ruud Gullit said that climate factor and geographical proximity between stadiums will give the State of Qatar a great advantage when it hosts the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

In a statement, Gullit said it will be a great World Cup because Europe is very cold, and it would be nice to come here where the temperature is moderate. The World Cup will be great because of the availability of all facilities in the country, he said, adding that there will be a great competition on excellent stadiums. In addition, it will be possible to attend two matches on the same day by taking the metro from one stadium to another as all the facilities are close to each other. This will give the host country a great advantage, and the public will be amazed when they come here, he said.

For his part, former Italian football star Gianfranco Zola, the former coach of Qatar’s Al Arabi, praised Qatar’s preparations to host the upcoming edition of the FIFA World Cup, saying that he enjoyed many places in Qatar after coming to train Al Arabi in 2015, while highlighting the best technology and facilities available in Qatar.

Zola said that he arrived in Qatar in 2015 to train the Al Arabi team, and he loved Qatar because it had a good environment to work, and he also loved Al Janoub Stadium, which will host the World Cup because it is great and provides cooling system.

Former Danish football star Peter Schmeichel considered that Lusail Stadium will be an architectural masterpiece and a unique stadium, although it is still under construction, stressing the importance of geographical proximity between the World Cup stadiums in Qatar, which are all factors that will make the World Cup in Qatar an exceptional and impressive event by all standards.

The former Danish star also stated that he visited Qatar many times, pointing to great development witnessed in construction field each time he visited the country. الدوحة: اعتبر نجم الكرة الهولندية السابق، رود خوليت، أن عامل المناخ والتقارب الجغرافي بين الملاعب سيمنح دولة قطر أفضلية كبيرة لدى استضافتها لكأس العالم لكرة القدم /FIFA قطر 2022/.

وقال خوليت، في تصريحات، “أعتقد أنها ستكون نسخة رائعة لكأس العالم لأن أوروبا باردة جدا، وسيكون من الجميل القدوم إلى هنا حيث درجة الحرارة معتدلة، كما ستكون كأس العالم رائعة لتوفر جميع المرافق في هذا البلد، وسنشاهد مسابقة رائعة على ملاعب ممتازة”، مضيفا أنه “بالإضافة إلى ذلك ستتوافر إمكانية حضور مباراتين في اليوم ذاته من خلال التنقل في المترو من استاد إلى آخر، إذ من المستحيل فعل ذلك في مسابقات أخرى، لأن كل المنشآت هنا على مقربة من بعضها البعض، وسيمنح ذلك البلد المستضيف أفضلية كبيرة، كما أني أعتقد أن الجمهور سيشعر بالدهشة عندما يأتي إلى هنا”.

ومن جانبه، أشاد نجم الكرة الإيطالية السابق جانفرانكو زولا، مدرب العربي القطري السابق، باستعدادات قطر لاستضافة النسخة المقبلة من كأس العالم لكرة القدم، حيث قال إنه استمتع بالعديد من الأماكن في قطر بعد قدومه إلى تدريب العربي في العام 2015، مؤكدا أنه من الصعب مشاهدة تكنولوجيا أفضل ومرافق موجودة في بلد آخر من دول العالم غير تلك المتوافرة في دولة قطر.

وقال زولا “جئت إلى قطر في العام 2015 عندما دربت فريق العربي، وقد أحببت البلد بعد قدومي إليه لاحتوائه على بيئة جيدة للعمل، كما أحببت ملعب استاد الجنوب الذي سيستضيف كأس العالم لأنه رائع ومن الممكن أن يوفر التبريد.. وفضلا عن ذلك علمت أن شبكة تصريف المياه تحت العشب تعمل على نحو جيد، ولا أعتقد أننا سنشاهد تكنولوجيا أفضل في مكان آخر”.

وعلى الصعيد ذاته، اعتبر نجم الكرة الدنماركية السابق بيتر شمايكل أن ملعب لوسيل سيكون تحفة معمارية وملعبا متفردا على الرغم من أنه لا يزال في طور الانشاء، مؤكدا أهمية التقارب الجغرافي بين ملاعب كأس العالم في قطر، وهي جميعها معطيات ستجعل من مونديال قطر حدثا استثنائيا ومبهرا بجميع المقاييس.

كما أفاد النجم الدنماركي السابق بأنه تواجد هنا في مرات كثيرة، وفي كل زيارة يشاهد حجم التطور الكبير الذي تشهده البلاد من ناحية الاعمار، قائلا “إن كنت من محبي كرة القدم، فزر قطر للاستمتاع بمشاهدة جميع مباريات مونديال 2022، وتمتع بما سيتوافر للمشجعين من تجهيزات قلما تم توفيرها لهم في مسابقات عالمية.. وسيكون لأي وافد على قطر مشاهدة أكثر من مباراة واحدة في اليوم ذاته بفضل شبكة الميترو وشبكة الطرق المتطورة التي ستستهل حركة كل زوار الدوحة بعد عام”.
