MOI Launches E-Wallet Service on Metrash2 App

Doha: The Ministry of Interior launched the E-Wallet service on the Metrash2 application, within the framework of the Ministry’s digital vision and its plan to switch to e-systems to develop the services provided to the public in easy and accessible ways, and maintain the advanced level achieved by the State of Qatar in this field.

The E-Wallet consists of official documents, including Qatari ID card, residence permit, driving license, vehicle registration, and ownership of the fancy/significant number. The public can use the E-Wallet while approaching the various departments and sections of the Ministry of Interior to avail Ministrys services.

Commenting on the occasion, Assistant Director-General of Information Systems Brigadier Ibrahim Al Harami explained that the E-Wallet is a new window in the Metrash2 app aims to enable the public to access digital copies of personal documents for using in the transactions of the Ministry of Interior in the first stage.

Brigadier Al Harami noted that the step comes in the framework of the constant development of the Ministry’s services, to ensure that all services are accessible by the public easily, saving time and efforts.

He added that the new service helps the public complete the transactions in the shortest possible time at the service outlets, and allows people to display the stored Identity documents in the app if they are demanded by security or traffic patrols.

The e-services of the Ministry of Interior are witnessing a great development, especially the Metrash2 app where the number of services available exceeded 200 services.

الدوحة: دشنت وزارة الداخلية خدمة /المحفظة الإلكترونية/ عبر تطبيق /مطراش2/، وذلك في إطار رؤيتها الرقمية، وتنفيذا لخطتها التي تهدف إلى التحول إلى الأنظمة الإلكترونية من أجل تطوير الخدمات المقدمة للجمهور بطرق سهلة وميسرة، والحفاظ على المستوى الرفيع الذي أحرزته دولة قطر في هذا المجال.

وتتضمن المحفظة الإلكترونية عددا من المستندات (البطاقة الشخصية القطرية، رخصة الإقامة، رخصة سوق، استمارة المركبة، ملكية الرقم المميز)، حيث يمكن الاستفادة منها عند مراجعة إدارات وأقسام وزارة الداخلية المختلفة.

وقال العميد إبراهيم الحرمي، مساعد مدير عام نظم المعلومات، إن المحفظة الإلكترونية نافذة جديدة بتطبيق /مطراش2/ لتمكين أفراد الجمهور من الوصول إلى نسخ رقمية من الوثائق والمستندات الشخصية، وذلك لاستخدامها في المعاملات التابعة لوزارة الداخلية في مرحلة أولى.

ولفت إلى أن هذه الخطوة تأتي في إطار التطوير الدائم لخدمات وزارة الداخلية وضمان الوصول إليها من مختلف قطاعات الجمهور بسهولة ويسر، وبما يوفر الوقت والجهد، موضحا أن هذه الخدمة تساعد المراجعين في إنجاز المعاملات في أقصر وقت ممكن في منافذ الخدمات، إلى جانب إمكانية إبرازها من خلال التطبيق في حالة طلبها من قبل الدوريات.

وتشهد خدمات وزارة الداخلية المقدمة للجمهور، من خلال الأنظمة الإلكترونية، تطورا كبيرا وبخاصة تطبيق /مطراش2/ على الهواتف الذكية، حيث يتجاوز عدد الخدمات المتاحة على التطبيق 200 خدمة.
