عبدالرحمن بن حمد: أموال أهل قطر الهدف الرئيسي من الحصار
Qatar Media Corporation CEO HE Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Hamad al-Thani said on Friday that it has become apparent that the Gulf crisis, which was fabricated by the blockading countries and started by the hack of Qatar News Agency, had the main objective of robbing money from the Qatari people.
In a tweet on his official Twitter account, @ahjh_althani Sheikh Abdulrahman wrote: “The Gulf crisis has been fabricated after the hacking of Qatar News Agency, and then they [the blockading countries] have taken terrorism as their plea to justify everything they do”.
He went on to explain: “The purpose of all this [the blockading], which happened overnight, was to get the money of the people of Qatar, and that was demonstrated by the 13 demands which they claim adherence to, when they called for ‘open compensation'”.
A few days ago, US President Donald Trump blamed the UAE for delaying the resolve of the Gulf crisis, according to a US source.
The US official told the New York Times that “Trump believes the UAE is responsible for the procrastination in resolving the Gulf crisis.” He added that the “Saudi Arabia and the UAE said they will reject a call for a Gulf Arab summit this month”.
Last February, Trump called on His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani to visit the US in April as part of Washington’s efforts to resolve the Gulf crisis and prepare for a Gulf-US summit in May.
But having a Gulf-American summit requires the end of Qatar’s siege, and that is not desired by the blockading countries.
Trump pushed for a settlement of the Gulf crisis because it led to a distraction in a conflict-ridden region, according to the US official.
Trump stressed the need to end the Gulf dispute, in a telephone call with His Highness Sheikh Tamim and Saudi King Salman bin Abdul Aziz.
In early June last year, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain and Egypt besieged Qatar diplomatically and commercially, imposing a land and air blockade on it.

وغرد سعادته عبر حسابه الرسمي بـ”تويتر” قائلاً: “تم افتعال الأزمة الخليجية بعد قرصنة وكالة الأنباء القطرية، ثم اتخذوا من (الإرهاب) شماعة لتبرير كل ما يفعلونه، والقصد من كل هذا الأمر الذي دبر بليل هو الحصول على أموال أهل قطر، وهذا ما أثبتته مطالبهم الـ 13 التي يدعون تمسكهم بها عندما طالبوا بـ (تعويضات) مفتوحة”.
وكان سعادة الشيخ عبدالرحمن بن حمد، قال في تصريحات سابقة إن دولة قطر تبنت سياسات إعلامية واضحة في تعاملها مع أزمة الحصار الجائر المفروض عليها، وأن الإعلام القطري بجميع أطيافه “المسموع والمقروء والمرئي” لعب دورا كبيرا جدا في التصدي لهذه الأزمة من خلال إعطاء المعلومات التفصيلية والآنية الصادقة حول الأزمة وتداعياتها في مواجهة الاتهامات وسيل الإشاعات والأكاذيب التي تكيلها دول الحصار ضد قطر.
وأضاف سعادته أن دول الحصار على النقيض من ذلك تبنت فلسفة فرعون كما ورد في القرآن الكريم على لسانه.. “ما أريكم إلا ما أرى”، فقد جرمت على شعوبها التعاطف ليس مع السياسة القطرية لكن مع الشعب القطري.
