Belgian child completes high school at the age of eight

A Belgian child said he had completed his secondary education at the age of eight and was proud of what he had accomplished but was still hesitant about his future.
Laurent Simon, born in 2009 in the coastal resort town of Ostend, completed the study in just two years instead of six years, becoming about 10 years younger than his peers.
Simon said he was currently thinking of working as an engineer, although he should first attend university. His mother said he would be able to start at the university.
According to the Belgian network VTM, Simon got 145 degrees in the IQ test, which is much higher than the level of 130, which is beyond the “talented”.
