Qatari students take part in ‘Maker Fair’ expo in Kuwait
وفد طلابي قطري يشارك في معرض الصناع العالمي بالكويت
The Ministry of Education and Higher Education is participating in the activities of the 2019 manufacturer’s international exhibition ‘Maker Fair’, in its third edition, currently held in Kuwait.
The Qatari delegation participating in the exhibition comprises a group of high school students and two supervisors. A number of activities and events are scheduled during the exhibition, which will run through February 11, in two sections; technological projects, and arts. Various activities are scheduled to be held on the sidelines of the exhibition.
The Head of the Qatari delegation, Yousef Al Abdullah, said that the exhibition is witnessing a great turnover and is of great importance, as several projects are displayed, pointing out that the State of Qatar is participating in this exhibition with projects.
تشارك وزارة التعليم والتعليم العالي في فعاليات معرض الصناع العالمي 2019، في نسخته الثالثة، والمقام حاليا بدولة الكويت الشقيقة.
ويضم الوفد القطري المشارك في المعرض مجموعة من طلاب المدارس الثانوية ومشرفين، علما بأنه يقام في إطار المعرض العديد من الفعاليات والأنشطة المتنوعة خلال فترة تنظيمه التي تستمر حتى 11 فبراير الجاري، ويشمل قسمين، الأول للمشاريع التكنولوجية، والثاني للمشاريع الفنية والحرفية، كما تقام على هامش المعرض أنشطة متنوعة وفي مجالات مختلفة للكبار والصغار.
وقال السيد يوسف العبدالله رئيس الوفد إن المعرض يحظى بحضور كبير ويتميز بأهمية كبيرة ومشاركة مشاريع كثيرة وحيوية عددها 80 مشروعا، مبينا أن دولة قطر تشارك بعدة مشاريع من بينها : سرير الطفل الذكي، الانعدام الظاهري لوزن الجسم، جهاز الرش الذكي، جهاز كشف إزالة الألغام، و جهاز لتفادي حرائق السيارات، و مشروع “قطرات”.
