Doha: The Ministry of Administrative Development, Labor and Social Affairs has agreed to resume issuing domestic workers’ visas of Indonesian nationality in the coming period, al-Raya has learned.
The Joint Qatari-Indonesian Committee has held meetings during the past period between specialists of the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labour and Social Affairs of the State of Qatar, and their counterparts in the Ministry of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia, to discuss the resumption of employment visas for Indonesian nationals during the coming period, including specific occupations: housekeeper, babysitter, childcare workers, elderly care, family cook and family driver.

الدوحة: علمت الراية أن وزارة التنمية الإدارية والعمل والشؤون الاجتماعية قد وافقت على استئناف إصدار تأشيرات العمالة المنزلية من الجنسية الإندونيسية خلال الفترة المُقبلة.
وكانت اللجنة القطرية الإندونيسية المُشتركة قد عقدت اجتماعات خلال الفترة الماضية بين المُختصين بوزارة التنمية الإدارية والعمل والشؤون الاجتماعية بدولة قطر، ونظرائهم في وزارة القوى العاملة بجمهورية إندونيسيا، لمُناقشة إعادة استئناف تأشيرات العمل للعمالة من الجنسية الإندونيسية خلال الفترة المُقبلة، على أن تشمل مهنًا مُحددة، هي: مُدبرة منزل، وجليسة أطفال، والعاملون في رعاية الأطفال، ورعاية المُسنين، وطباخ الأسرة، وسائق الأسرة.
