Minister of Culture Inaugurates “A M Gallery” in Lusail City

Doha: HE Minister of Culture Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Thani inaugurated today the “A M Gallery” in Place Vendome Mall in Lusail City.
During a tour after the opening, HE the Minister of Culture was briefed on the most prominent artworks participating in the gallery, which aims to enrich the artistic world with a number of artworks, and translates the sense and creativity of the Qatari artist.
In this context, artist Ahmed Al Maadeed, who is in charge of the A M Gallery, said that 17 artists are participating in gallery, whose artworks are distinguished by diversity, craftsmanship and high accuracy.
Al Maadeed noted the keenness on diversifying the artworks of the participating artists every month, making the gallery a place for all artists on a permanent basis.
He pointed out that the gallery was established to create a suitable and professional environment for the artist in general, while focusing on artists among the Qatari citizens and residents and supporting them to export art outside the State of Qatar.
The A M Gallery include two sections, Studio A and Studio M, that contain all drawing tools and colors. Studio A is dedicated to professional artists and provides all the required materials in an environment rich in artistic atmosphere; while Studio M is for free drawing and provides the opportunity for all visitors to enter the gallery and experience drawing with all available tools and colors.
The A M Gallery aims to enrich the artistic world with a number of diverse artworks presented by a selected group of Qatari and international artists, each of whom is characterized by a unique approach to creativity and innovation. The Gallery is concerned with vibrant culture and commitment to the community. It also works to create an appropriate artistic environment for artists and those interested, and seeks to provide a solid experience of inspiration.
On the sidelines of the gallery, there will be lectures and cultural seminars aimed at gaining and exchanging experience.

الدوحة: افتتح سعادة الشيخ عبد الرحمن بن حمد آل ثاني وزير الثقافة، يوم أمس جاليري /أي أم/ في بلاس فاندوم مول بمدينة لوسيل.
واطلع سعادة وزير الثقافة، خلال جولة عقب الافتتاح، على أبرز الأعمال الفنية المشاركة في الجاليري، والذي يهدف إلى إثراء العالم الفني بعدد من الأعمال الفنية، ويترجم حس وإبداع الفنان القطري.
وفي هذا السياق، قال الفنان أحمد المعاضيد المسؤول عن الجاليري إنه يشارك في /أي أم/ 17 فنانا تتميز أعمالهم الفنية بالتنوع والحرفية والدقة العالية، “ويقدمون جميعهم لوحات عن الطبيعة ولوحات أخرى متعددة”.
وأضاف :”حرصنا في الجاليري على تنوع الأعمال الفنية للفنانين المشاركين كل شهر بحيث يكون هذا المكان مخصصا لعرض لوحاتهم الفنية أمام الزوار ومحبي الفن وبشكل دائم، ونسعى من خلال هذا الجاليري أيضا لإتاحة الفرصة لغالبية الفنانين الراغبين بعرض لوحاتهم وصورهم في الجاليري”.
ولفت المعاضيد إلى أن الجاليري تم تأسيسه لإيجاد بيئة مناسبة واحترافية للفنان بشكل عام والتركيز على الفنان القطري والمقيم ، ودعمهم لتصدير الفن خارج دولة قطر.
والجاليري عبارة عن استديو /أي و أم/ ويتيح للفنانين الرسم بداخله مع توفر كافة أدوات الرسم والألوان أيضا حيث أن استديو /أي/ الاحترافي يوفر جميع المواد المطلوبة وسط بيئة غنية بالأجواء الفنية، أما استديو /أم/ للرسم الحر الذي يتيح الفرصة لكافة زوار الجاليري بالدخول وخوض تجربة الرسم مع توفر جميع الأدوات والألوان.
ويأتي الهدف من إقامة هذا الجاليري الدائم، إلى إثراء العالم الفني بعدد من الأعمال الفنية المتنوعة التي يقدمها مجموعة مختارة من الفنانين القطريين والعالميين، ويتميز كل منهم بنهج فريد من نوعه في الابداع والابتكار، ويهتم الجاليري بالثقافة النابضة بالحياة، والالتزام تجاه المجتمع، كما يعمل على خلق بيئة فنية مناسبة للفنانين والمهتمين، ويعتبر علاقة عملية بين الفنان ومقتنين الأعمال الفنية، ويسعى جاليري / أي أم / لتقديم تجربة راسخة للإلهام.
وستقام على هامش الجاليري محاضرات ، وندوات ثقافية تهدف الى اكتساب الخبرة وتبادلها من خلال حضور المحاضرات الفنية.
