Doha: Specialists and citizens stressed the high risk of excessive speed that often lead to fatal accidents that cause pain and sorrow in the hearts of parents who lose their precious children as a result of wrong behaviors, leaving psychological wounds that are difficult to heal over time.
In a survey for Al-Sharq, they pointed out that the likelihood of accidents is serious and increases when the driver is young and under the influence of social media and phone preoccupation while driving, suggesting raising the age of obtaining a driver’s license to over 20 years so the vehicle driver would be more mature.
They stressed the centrality of the role of parents in raising young people on positive and calm behaviors in dealing with vehicles, especially since the circuits specialized in emptying their energies in this field are available, pointing out the importance of intensifying traffic awareness among young people.
