Doha: The Ministry of Municipality has revealed that it is nearing the completion of strategic initiatives and projects aimed at food security and ensuring the sustainability of natural resources in the country, in line with Qatar’s National Vision 2030. The ministry affirmed in an official report that the agricultural sector is on the verge of implementing 28 strategic initiatives and projects, along with 5 major marketing initiatives that the sector contributes to implementing for vegetables and dates. Additionally, 666 hectares of protected and cooled greenhouses have been covered.
Regarding the implementation of the strategic initiatives, the Ministry of Municipality’s report stated that 78% of the Honeybee National Program initiative has been completed, and 90% of the initiative to develop the production and marketing database for agricultural activities has been accomplished. Furthermore, the initiative to enhance the capacities of research stations and agricultural laboratories has been achieved by 100%.”

الدوحة: كشفت وزارة البلدية عن قرب الانتهاء من مبادرات ومشاريع استراتيجية تستهدف الأمن الغذائي وضمان استدامة الموارد الطبيعية في الدولة بما يتوافق مع رؤية قطر الوطنية 2030. حيث أكدت الوزارة في تقرير رسمي أن قطاع شؤون الزراعة على وشك الانتهاء من تنفيذ 28 مبادرة ومشروعا استراتيجيا بجانب 5 مبادرات تسويقية كبرى يساهم القطاع لتنفيذها للخضراوات والتمور، كما تمت تغطية 666 هكتارا من البيوت المحمية المبردة.
وفيما يتعلق بما تم تنفيذه من المبادرات الاستراتيجية أوضح تقرير وزارة البلدية إنه تم إنجاز 78% من مبادرة البرنامج الوطني لنحل العسل، و90% من مبادرة تطوير قاعدة البيانات الإنتاجية والتسويقية الخاصة بانشطة الزراعة، فيما تم انجاز مبادرة تعزيز قدرات المحطات البحثية والمختبرات الزراعية بنسبة 100%.
