Lounges prices are too expensive!

Doha: As the summer break approaches, many questions have surfaced about the mechanism for booking private lounges in various areas of the country, including the Al-Ghariya area, Abu Shadouf, Al-Khadra, Al-Sakhama, Um Abiriya, umm al-Amoud, etc.,

Demanding that one of the tourist authorities in the country supervise the work of these lounges, which receive a large number of citizens and residents wishing to book during the summer period, in which the demand for booking these lounges increases, in order to control them and ensure their commitment to provide services in accordance with the state, in addition to ensuring the availability of security and safety procedures and sterilization services under the current circumstances as the Coronavirus crisis continues in Qatar and the countries of the world, wishing to organize the work of rest and detentions, to be subordinate to one of the competent authorities concerned with tourism affairs in the country, in order to ensure that the laws and procedures followed in the tourism and leisure sector are not tolerated or manipulated.

Citizens confirmed during their talk to Al-Sharq that there is a great exploitation to which they are exposed as a result of the booking of lounges where the value of booking amounts to approximately 4 thousand QR per day, demanding the concerned authorities to intervene to determine the value of renting lounges compared to the services provided to customers, pointing out that the prices of booking in breaks are more expensive than the prices of reservations in chalets and hotels that provide multiple services to guests, including meals included in the total booking price.

الدوحة: مع اقتراب إجازة الصيف، طفت على السطح تساؤلات عديدة يطرحها عدد من المواطنين حول آلية حجز الاستراحات الخاصة والموجودة في مختلف مناطق الدولة منها منطقة الغارية، ومنطقة أبو ظلوف، والخرارة، ومنطقة الصخامة، وأم عبيرية، وأم العمد، وغيرها، مطالبين بأن تشرف إحدى الجهات السياحية في الدولة على عمل هذه الاستراحات التي تستقبل عددا كبيرا من المواطنين والمقيمين الراغبين في الحجز خلال فترة الصيف، التي يزيد فيها الإقبال على حجز هذه الاستراحات، وذلك من أجل ضبطها والتأكد من التزامها بتقديم الخدمات وفقا لما هو متبع في الدولة، بالإضافة إلى التأكد من توافر إجراءات الأمن والسلامة وخدمات التعقيم في ظل الظروف الراهنة مع استمرار أزمة كورونا في قطر ودول العالم، متمنين تنظيم عمل الاستراحات وعمليات الحجز فيها، على أن تكون تابعة لإحدى الجهات المختصة والمعنية بالشأن السياحي بالدولة، وذلك لضمان عدم التهاون أو التلاعب بالقوانين والإجراءات المتبعة بالقطاع السياحي والترفيهي.

وأكد مواطنون خلال حديثهم لـ “الشرق” أن هناك استغلالا كبيرا يتعرضون له جراء عملية حجز الاستراحات التي تصل قيمة الحجز فيها إلى قرابة 4 آلاف ريال لليوم الواحد، مطالبين الجهات المعنية بالتدخل لتحديد قيمة استئجار الاستراحات مقارنة بالخدمات المقدمة للعملاء، مشيرين إلى أن أسعار الحجز في الاستراحات أغلى من أسعار الحجز في الشاليهات والفنادق التي تقدم خدمات متعددة للنزلاء، من ضمنها وجبات مشمولة في سعر الحجز الكلي.
