Paris: Christie’s auction house, as of Friday, will be showing the famous 17th-century Mona Lisa Hekking, whose owner Raymond Hekking claimed during the 1960s to be leonardo da Vinci’s original painting.
The painting topped the world’s news after the passionate art collecter acquired this masterpiece from an antiques dealer in the Nice region of southern France, the auction house explained.
It is estimated to be between 200,000 and 300,000 euros. The auction will be held from June 11 to June 18 on the house’s website. Raymond Hekking who’s passionate about art, continued to defend the authenticity of this painting for art historians and the media until the 1960s.

باريس: تعرض دار «كريستيز» للمزادات ابتداءً من الجمعة على الإنترنت لوحة «موناليزا هيكينغ» الشهيرة التي تعود إلى القرن السابع عشر والتي ادعى مالكها ريموند هيكينغ خلال الستينيات أنها الرسمة الأصلية لليوناردو دافينتشي. وتصدرت هذه اللوحة الأخبار العالمية بعدما حصل عليها هذا الجامع الشغوف من تاجر تحف في منطقة نيس (جنوب فرنسا)، كما أوضحت دار المزادات.
ويقدر سعرها بما بين 200 ألف و300 ألف يورو. وسيقام المزاد في الفترة الممتدة من 11 يونيو إلى 18 من الشهر نفسه على الموقع الإلكتروني للدار. وبقي ريموند هيكينغ الشغوف بالفن، يدافع عن أصالة هذه اللوحة لمؤرخي الفنون ووسائل الإعلام حتى الستينيات.
