President of El Salvador visits Katara Dhow Festival
رئيس السلفادور يزور موقع مهرجان المحامل التقليدية في «كتارا»
President of El Salvador Nayib Bukele and his accompanying delegation has visited Cultural Village Foundation – Katara.
During his tour, President Bukele was acquainted with the facilities of Katara. He also visited the Katara 9th Traditional Dhow Festival, where he was briefed on the important aspect of Qatar’s marine heritage.
General Manager of Katara, Dr Khalid bin Ibrahim al-Sulaiti, gave a presentation about the Katara 9th Traditional Dhow Festival and its activities, which highlight an important historical era in the life of Qatari society.
The president of El Salvador was also briefed on Katara’s activities throughout the year, which enrich the local cultural and tourism scene and build bridges of communication with other cultures. President Bukele expressed his admiration for Katara. – QNA
استقبل سعادة الدكتور خالد بن إبراهيم السليطي، المدير العام للمؤسسة العامة للحي الثقافي «كتارا»، مساء أمس، فخامة الرئيس نجيب بوكيلي رئيس جمهورية السلفادور.
وقام فخامته بجولة في بعض مرافق الحي الثقافي وموقع مهرجان كتارا التاسع للمحامل التقليدية، متعرّفاً بذلك على جانب مهم من تراث قطر البحري. وأبدى فخامة رئيس السلفادور إعجابه بالحي الثقافي «كتارا»، متمنياً دوام الازدهار والتوفيق لدولة قطر. وقدّم المدير العام لـ «كتارا» مجسماً للمسرح المكشوف، هدية تذكارية لفخامة الرئيس نجيب بوكيلي رئيس جمهورية السلفادور.
