Turkey exempts vaccinated and recovered Qataris from PCR testing

Doha: Qatar’s Embassy to the Turkish Republic has announced that two categories of citizens arriving in Turkey will be exempted from PCR testing from June 1st.
It said via its Twitter account last night: The Embassy of Qatar to Turkey draws the attention of its esteemed citizens to the fact that from June 1, 2021, two categories of citizens from Doha to Turkey will be exempted from PCR screening as follows:
1. Travellers who produce a certificate proving that they have been vaccinated and 14 days have passed from the second dose.
2. Travellers who produce a certificate proving that they have recovered from Coronavirus within the last 6 months.
It added: “Arrivals may be subjected to PCR testing randomly upon arrival in Turkey, noting that these procedures will continue until June 30th, after which the situation will be assessed according to the latest developments, as the procedures for the Coronavirus are constantly changing as cases evolve and the virus spreads.
Yesterday, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced a series of new decisions to ease restrictions imposed in the fight against the Corona pandemic, explaining that the curfew will continue from Monday to Saturday throughout June from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
According to Anadolu, restaurants will serve at tables between 7 a.m. and 9 p.m. under specific controls, and will continue home delivery until midnight.

الدوحة: أعلنت سفارة دولة قطر لدى الجمهورية التركية أنه سيتم إعفاء فئتين من المواطنين القادمين إلى تركيا من فحص الـ PCR اعتباراً من 1 يونيو الجاري.
وقالت عبر حسابها بموقع تويتر مساء الأمس: تلفت سفارة قطر لدى تركيا نظر مواطنيها الكرام إلى أنه ابتداءً من 1 يونيو 2021 سيتم إعفاء فئتين من المواطنين القادمين من الدوحة إلى تركيا من فحص الـPCR على النحو التالي:
1- المسافرون الذين يبرزون شهادة تثبت حصولهم على التطعيم على أن يكون قد مضى على أخذهم للجرعة الثانية 14 يوماً.
2- المسافرون الذين يبرزون شهادة تثبت شفاءهم من فيروس كورونا خلال آخر 6 أشهر.
وأضافت: علماً أنه قد يتم إخضاع القادمين عشوائياً لفحص PCR عند الوصول إلى تركيا، منوهة إلى استمرار العمل بهذه الإجراءات حتى 30 يونيو الجاري وبعدها يتم تقييم الوضع بحسب المستجدات، نظراً لأن الإجراءات الخاصة بفيروس كورونا تتغير باستمرار بحسب تطور الحالات وانتشار الفيروس.
وأمس أعلن الرئيس التركي رجب طيب أردوغان سلسلة قرارات جديدة لتخفيف القيود المفروضة في إطار مكافحة جائحة كورونا، موضحاً أن حظر التجول سيستمر من الإثنين إلى السبت طوال شهر يونيو من العاشرة مساء حتى الخامسة صباحاً.
وأشار، بحسب وكالة الأناضول، إلى أن المطاعم ستقدم خدماتها على الطاولات بين السابعة صباحا والتاسعة مساء وفق ضوابط محددة، وستواصل خدمة التوصيل للمنازل حتى منتصف الليل.
