Turnout on men’s barbershops and gyms

Doha: The first phase of lifting restrictions to curb the spread of Coronavirus, decided by the state in four stages, began yesterday, following a decrease in the number of cases of Coronavirus in recent times, thanks to efforts by the state to reduce the spread of coronavirus and face the second wave.

The first phase of the lifting of restrictions included the opening of men’s salons, women’s salons, gyms and more.

On “Al-Sharq” tour of a number of men’s barbershops and gyms, it monitored the extent of commitment in terms of allowing vaccine-recipients and golden frame holders on EHTERAZ app.

Osman Ali, director of a Men’s Salon, said: “Men’s salons yesterday witnessed a growing demand from customers, while these salons were prepared to receive these numbers by equipping and sterilizing salons from the inside, and working to control the presence of customers inside the salons.

He added: Salons were keen to provide the required services to customers with the application of precautionary measures, where everyone is obliged to wear mask, and to maintain the distance between one chair and another, in addition to continuing to sterilize the place after each use for the sake of the safety of all.

He stressed that all the workers in barbershop salons have received the two doses of vaccine, in addition to subjecting them to periodic examination to make sure that they do not have any infectious diseases, calling on everyone to abide by precautionary measures because of their opportunities to maintain the safety of all, and contribute to the decrease in the number of daily infections.

Sammon, a barber shop worker, said: “In the salon, they have prepared for yesterday the first stages of lifting restrictions, by sterilizing salons from the inside and sterilizing shaving tools and other tools that are part of shaving and other services.

He stressed that they refused to receive some customers or provide them with the required services, because they did not comply with precautionary measures and did not commit to wearing masks, pointing out that compliance with the procedures put in order is very important and it is not tolerated.

“The turnout was modest yesterday in the gyms, as it was the first day of the lifting of the restrictions set by the state,” said Tahir Ali, a coach.

He said the gyms had worked hard to organize the entry process to the halls so that only a specific percentage would be allowed to enter, with highlighting EHTERAZ app with the green status and the golden frame

He pointed out that they were keen not to operate all the sports equipment that are located near each other, so that to keep the distance between each person and the other, stressing that they work throughout the working hours of the gyms to sterilize the place and sports equipment constantly and after every use.

الدوحة: بدأت أمس المرحلة الاولى من رفع القيود المفروضة للحد من انتشار كورونا، والتي قررتها الدولة على 4 مراحل، وجاء ذلك بعد الانخفاض بعدد حالات الاصابات بفيروس كورونا خلال الفترة الاخيرة، بفضل الجهود التي بذلتها الدولة للحد من انتشار فيروس كورونا ومواجهة الموجة الثانية.

وتضمنت المرحلة الاولى من رفع القيود، افتتاح الصالونات الرجالية، والصالونات النسائية، والصالات الرياضية وغيرها.

وفي جولة “الشرق” على عدد من صالونات الحلاقة الرجالية، والصالات الرياضية، رصدت مدى الالتزام فيها من حيث السماح بدخول الحاصلين على جرعتين اللقاح، واصحاب الاطار الذهبي في تطبيق احتراز.

قال عثمان علي مدير صالون رجالي: شهدت الصالونات الرجالية امس اقبالا متزايدا من الزبائن، وفي الوقت ذاته استعدت هذه الصالونات لاستقال هذه الاعداد من خلال تجهيز الصالونات من الداخل وتعقيمها، والعمل على ضبط عملية تواجد الزبائن داخل الصالونات.

وأضاف: حرصت الصالونات على تقديم الخدمات المطلوبة للزبائن مع تطبيق الاجراءات الاحترازية، حيث الزام الجميع بارتداء الكمامة، والمحافظة على مسافة التباعد بين كرسي وآخر، بالاضافة الى الاستمرار في تعقيم المكان بعد كل استخدام حرصا على سلامة الجميع.

واكد على ان كافة العاملين في صالونات الخلاقة قد حصلوا على جرعتي اللقاح، علاوة على ذلك اخضاعهم للفحص الدوري للتأكد من عدم اصابتهم بأي أمراض معدية، داعيا الجميع الى الالتزام بالاجراءات الاحترازية لما لها من فرص في المحافظة على سلامة الجميع، ومساهمتها في انخفاض اعداد الاصابات اليومية.

من جهته قال سامون عامل في محل حلاقة: انهم في الصالون تجهزوا ليوم امس اولى مراحل رفع القيود، وذلك بتعقيم الصالونات من الداخل وتعقيم ادوات الحلاقة وباقي الادوات الاخرى التي تدخل ضمن اعمال الحلاقة والخدمات الاخرى.

وأكد أنهم رفضوا استقبال بعض الزبائن او تقديم الخدمات المطلوبة لهم، وذلك لعدم تقيدهم بالاجراءات الاحترازية وعدم التزامهم بارتداء الكمامة، لافتا الى ان التقيد بالاجراءات الموضوعة امر في غاية الاهمية ولا تهاون به.

يرى طاهر علي مدرب جم: كان الاقبال متواضعا امس على الصالات الرياضية، كونه اليوم الاول من رفع القيود التي وضعتها الدولة.

واضاف ان الصالات الرياضية عملت جاهدة على تنظيم عملية الدخول الى الصالات بحيث لا يسمح الا بدخول نسبة محددة مع ابراز تطبيق احتراز باللون الاخضر والاطار الذهبي.

ولفت الى انهم حرصوا على عدم تشغيل او عمل كافة الاجهزة الرياضية التي تقع بقرب بعضها البعض، حتى انا نحافظ على مسافة التباعد بين كل شخص وآخر، مؤكدا انهم يعملون طوال وقت عمل الصالات الرياضية على تعقيم المكان والاجهزة الرياضية باستمرار وبعد كل استخدام.
