New law in Russia grants long-stay tourist visas to all citizens of the world

Today, Russia passed a new visa law for foreign tourist to enter the country for six months regardless of their country’s visa policy towards Russian nationals.

Russian President Vladimir Putin signed the law, which was published on Russia’s official-internet portal of legal information and comes into effect 90 days later.

Russia’s website explained today that obtaining the new tourist visas require conditions such as a reservation in a hotel listed on the Federal Register of Tour Operators in Russia, pointing out that currently a regular tourist visa is issued for up to one month or up to 6 months on the basis of reciprocity, and if the foreigner has an invitation from an institution.

According to Sputnik, the document posted on the official-internet portal of legal Russian information states that confirmation of tourist admissions by the Federal Unified Register of Tour Operators in Russia can be replaced by confirmation of hotel reservations only, which is necessary to obtain a visa to Russian territory.

أصدرت روسيا اليوم قانوناً جديداً للتأشيرات السياحية للأجانب لدخول البلاد لمدة 6 أشهر بغض النظر عن سياسة التأشيرات الخاصة ببلدانهم تجاه الرعايا الروس.

ووقّع الرئيس الروسي فلاديمير بوتين على القانون الذي تم نشره على البوابة الرسمية للمعلومات القانونية في روسيا، ويدخل حيز التنفيذ بعد 90 يوماً.

وأوضح موقع روسيا اليوم أنه للحصول على التأشيرات السياحية الجديدة يتطلب شروط منها وجود حجز في فندق مدرج ضمن السجل الفدرالي لمنظمي الرحلات السياحية في روسيا، لافتة إلى أنه في الوقت الحالي يتم إصدار تأشيرة سياحية عادية لمدة تصل إلى شهر واحد أو إلى مدة تصل إلى 6 أشهر على أساس المعاملة بالمثل، وفي حال إذا كان لدى الأجنبي دعوة من مؤسسة.

وبحسب موقع سبوتنيك، تنص الوثيقة المنشورة على بوابة الإنترنت الرسمية للمعلومات القانونية الروسية على إمكانية استبدال تأكيد قبول دخول السياح من قبل السجل الفيدرالي الموحد لمنظمي الرحلات السياحية في روسيا، بتأكيد حجز الفندق فقط، وهو أمر ضروري للحصول على تأشيرة دخول إلى الأراضي الروسية.
