India: Wedding in mid-air to escape Covid-19 restrictions
الهند: حفل زفاف في الجو هرباً من قيود كورونا
Since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic in the world and the beginning of state restrictions on citizens to reduce the spread of Covid-19 and eliminate the virus, some individuals have resorted to behaviors to circumvent restrictions.
In this case, an Indian couple held their wedding on an air plane with more than 160 guests to avoid the general closure rules imposed to contain the Coronavirus.
The couple booked a flight on a Boeing 737 from Madurai, India, to get married on board with 160 friends and family members on Sunday.
Tamil Nadu, from which the flight took off, is under lockdown restrictions, with weddings limited to 50 guests.
“Airport authority officials were not aware of the mid-air wedding,” an airport official said.
India’s health system, which lacks basic resources, is at risk of Covid-19 as the Indian strain spreads and the number of infections and deaths increased over the past period.

وفي هذه الحالة، أقام زوجان هنديان حفل زفاف على متن طائرة في الجو مع أكثر من 160 ضيفا لتجنب قواعد الإغلاق العام المفروضة بهدف احتواء فيروس كورونا.
وقام الزوجان بحجز رحلة طيران على متن طائرة بوينغ 737 من مدينة مادوراي بالهند، وتزوجا على متنها بحضور 160 شخصا من الأصدقاء والعائلة يوم الأحد.
وتخضع ولاية تاميل نادو، التي انطلقت منها الرحلة لقيود الإغلاق حيث تقتصر حفلات الزفاف على 50 ضيفا.
وقال مسؤول بالمطار إن “مسؤولي هيئة المطار لم يكونوا على علم بحفل الزواج الذي جرى في الجو”.
ومن الجدير بالذكر أن النظام الصحي في الهند والذي يفتقر إلى الموارد الأساسية يواجه خطر فيروس كورونا مع انتشار السلالة الهندية وارتفاع عدد الإصابات والوفيات خلال الفترة الماضية.
