MoCI: workers and customers must be vaccinated in closed spaces

Doha: Mr. Ayed Al Qahtani, Director of the Department of Registration and Commercial Licenses at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, called on owners of establishments and shops to follow restrictions in the first phase, pointing out that the focus will be on closed or indoor shops, whether restaurants, salons or barber shops.

“We are focused on all the workers being vaccinated and have passed the 14-day phase, whether they are workers or customers, and in open spaces there was room for those who did not receive the vaccine,” Mr. Al Qahtani said in an interview with Qatar TV, noting that it is not intended to give advantages to the vaccinated, but the goal is how to get past this stage with no infections and advance to the other stages of lifting restrictions and I think the public understands the situation.

He added that barber shops, salons and gyms will open on Friday on the basis of requirements, where the first phase of the lifting of restrictions targeted the vital sector of concern to the citizen and resident based on a study to start work and expand the vital and recreational business.

“We will make sure that the procedures are adhered to and we have intensive campaigns on commercial centers and shops and violators will be seriously punished,” said the director of the registration department. The goal is not punishment, but the goal is to advance to the second stage.

He added: We do not make a decision to close except based on study and increased cases, pointing out that the site of the activity is inspected and if we find occupancy by 50% for example, the owner of the restaurant or café is informed and alerted that they exceeded 30%, if he cooperates with us, we will not close the place, but if he does not, the legal procedures are taken and the place will be closed, we cooperate with the owners of the stores.

He stressed that the public itself cooperates with us, and gives us information about the failure to apply precautionary measures by this place or other stores, indicating the public’s awareness and understanding of the procedures.

الدوحة: دعا السيد عايض القحطاني مدير إدارة التسجيل والتراخيص التجارية بوزارة التجارة والصناعة، أصحاب المنشآت والمحلات إلى اتباع قيود بالمرحلة الأولى، مشيراً إلى أنه سيتم التركيز على المحلات المغلقة أو الأماكن المغلقة سواء المطاعم أو الصالونات أو محلات الحلاقة .

وقال السيد القحطاني – في مقابلة مع تليفزيون قطر – نركز أن يكون العاملين كلهم مطعمين وتعدوا مرحلة 14 يوماً ، سواء كانوا عمالاً أو عملاء، وفي الأماكن المفتوحة كان هناك مجال لمن لم يتطعموا، مشيراً إلى أنه ليس المقصود إعطاء ميزات للمطعمين، لكن الهدف كيف نتجاوز هذه المرحلة، ولا يكون هناك إصابات ونذهب للمراحل الأخرى من رفع القيود وأعتقد أن الجمهور متفهم للوضع .

وأضاف أن محلات الحلاقة والصالونات والصالات الرياضية سيفتحون يوم الجمعة بناء على اشتراطات، حيث استهدفت المرحلة الأولى من رفع القيود القطاع الحيوي الذي يهم المواطن والمقيم بناء على دراسة لبدء العمل والتوسع في النشاط التجاري الحيوي والترفيهي .

وقال مدير إدارة التسجيل : سنتأكد من التقيد بالاجراءات ولدينا حملات مكثفة على المراكز التجارية والمحالات وسيتم معاقبة المخالفين بجدية .. موضحًا أن الهدف ليس العقاب ولكن الهدف أن نذهب إلى المرحلة الثانية.

وأضاف: لا نتخذ قراراً بالإغلاق إلا مبني على دراسة وزيادة الحالات، لافتاً إلى أنه يتم معاينة موقع النشاط وإذا وجدنا الإشغال بنسبة 50 % مثلاً، يتم إبلاغ صاحب المطعم أو المقهى وتنبيهه بأنك تعديت 30% فإذا تجاوب معنا، لن نغلق المكان، أما إذا لم يتجاوب يتم اتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية والإغلاق، فنحن نتعاون مع أصحاب المحلات .

وأكد أن الجمهور نفسه يتعاون معنا، ويعطينا معلومات عن عدم تطبيق هذا المحل أو غيره للإجراءات الاحترازية ، ما يدل على وعي الجمهور وتفهمه للإجراءات .
