MOPH launches electronic colouring book for children
وزارة الصحة تصدر كتيب تلوين إلكتروني للأطفال
QNA – Doha:
Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) has launched an electronic colouring book – “Heroes of the White Army”- with drawings and awareness messages for children using heroic characters of medical professionals like doctors, nurses and paramedics fighting against the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
The book has tips for children to deal with COVID-19 explained in simple words – in both Arabic and English – from medical heroes during Qatar’s efforts to tackle the Coronavirus pandemic.
Parents can download the colouring book in pDf format from the link https://whitearmyheroes.moph.gov.qa/ by submitting the names of their children.
The Ministry urged parents to encourage their children to draw their favorite heroic character and share them on social media by tagging #whitearmy_qatar.
Director of Public Relations and Communication at the Ministry of Public Health Alyaa Hassan Al Kuwari said: “The launch of the E-booklet is part of the MoPH’s efforts in collaboration with Hamad Medical Corporation and Primary Health Care Corporation to promote awareness and health education about Covid-19 pandemic among children in Qatari society, as precautionary measures and preventive measures associated with the virus continue, and represents a symbolic recognition of the efforts of medical staff in combating the COVID-19 pandemic.”
Al Kuwari explained that the main goal is to establish a generation that understands the importance of the medical profession and instill enthusiasm in children and motivate them to join the medical profession by highlighting our true heroes in the health sector facilities.
Al Kuwari added that the design of the characters in the booklet and the advices used inside it targeted children at the age of 4 to 10 years and an electronic link was created on the website of the Ministry of Public Health and posted on various social media in addition to the hashtag #whitearmy_Qatar.
Executive Director of Media and Public Relations at Hamad Medical Corporation Hassan Al Hill said: “The launch of the new booklet coincides with the implementation of the second phase of the gradual lifting of restrictions on the COVID-19 pandemic, with the aim of contributing to raising awareness among children in Qatar about the coronavirus and how to protect themselves from infection and to identify the inspiring roles played by medical staff to fight the virus.
“Through the booklet, the health sector seeks to introduce children and educate them about many reliable health information of the COVID-19 Virus,” Executive Director of Corporate Communications at the Primary Health Care Corporation, Huda Al Wahedi said.

أصدرت وزارة الصحة العامة بالتعاون مع مؤسستي حمد الطبية والرعاية الصحية الأولية كتيب تلوين إلكتروني يحتوي على رسومات تتضمن رسائل توعوية موجهة للأطفال من خلال شخصيات بطولية من أطقم الكادر الطبي /أطباء وممرضون ومسعفون/ أثناء جائحة /كوفيد- 19/ بعنوان / أبطال الجيش الأبيض/.
ويتناول الكتيب نصائح توعوية للأطفال للتعامل مع مرض فيروس كورنا بطريقة مبسطة وباللغتين العربية والإنجليزية على لسان أبطال الطواقم الطبية خلال جهود دولة قطر للتصدي لفيروس /كوفيد- 19/.
وقالت السيدة علياء حسن الكواري مدير إدارة العلاقات العامة والاتصال في وزارة الصحة العامة، “إن الكتيب الإلكتروني جاء في إطار جهود وزارة الصحة وبالتعاون مع مؤسستي حمد الطبية والرعاية الصحية الأولية لتعزيز التوعية والتثقيف الصحي الخاص بجائحة /كوفيد- 19/ لدى الأطفال في المجتمع القطري، في ظل استمرار العمل بالإجراءات الاحترازية والتدابير الوقائية المرتبطة بالفيروس، كما يمثل الكتيب تقديرا رمزيا لجهود الطواقم الطبية في مكافحة جائحة كورونا”.
وأضافت “أن القطاع الصحي يهدف إلى التعريف بأهمية مهنة الطب بمختلف تخصصاتها وخلق الشغف وحلم العمل ضمن صفوف هذه المهنة السامية وبث الحماس في نفوس الأطفال مستقبلا وتحفيزهم للانضمام لطليعة الكوادر الطبية، وذلك من خلال إلقاء الضوء على أبطالنا الحقيقيين بمرافق القطاع الصحي بالدولة”.
وأشارت السيدة علياء الكواري إلى أنه تمت مراعاة تصميم الشخصيات بالكتيب والعبارات المستخدمة داخله بحيث تناسب الأطفال من عمر 4 إلى 10 سنوات، كما تم إنشاء رابط إلكتروني على موقع وزارة الصحة العامة ونشره على وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي المختلفة بالإضافة إلى إطلاق وسم #الجيش_الأبيض_قطر.
من جهته قال السيد حسن الهيل المدير التنفيذي لإدارة الإعلام والعلاقات العامة في مؤسسة حمد الطبية، “إن إصدار الكتيب الجديد يأتي بالتزامن مع الرفع التدريجي للقيود الخاصة بجائحة /كوفيد-19/ ويهدف إلى المساهمة في رفع مستوى الوعي لدى الأطفال حول فيروس كورونا وكيفية حماية أنفسهم من الإصابة به والتعرف على الأدوار الملهمة التي قامت بها الكوادر الطبية لمكافحة الفيروس”.
من ناحيتها قالت السيدة هدى الواحدي المدير التنفيذي لإدارة الاتصال المؤسسي في مؤسسة الرعاية الصحية الأولية ، “إن الكتيب يعرف الأطفال ويثقفهم بالعديد من المعلومات الصحية الموثوقة حول فيروس كورونا بطريقة مبسطة وممتعة، ويساهم في دعم توجه الأطفال نحو ممارسة أنشطة ترفيهية مفيدة في ظل البقاء في المنازل لفترات طويلة نتيجة الإجراءات الخاصة بجائحة / كوفيد-19/”.
ودعت وزارة الصحة العامة أولياء أمور الأطفال إلى الدخول على الرابط https://whitearmyheroes.moph.gov.qa/ وإدخال أسماء أطفالهم ومن ثم يتم تحميل كتيب التلوين المصور في شكل ملف PDF باسم الطفل ويتم إرسال نسخة إلى البريد الإلكتروني الذي تم التسجيل به، بحيث يتاح للأطفال قراءة النصائح وطباعة الكتيب وتلوين المشاهد البطولية لشخصياتهم المفضلة من أبطال الجيش الأبيض بهدف المساهمة في توجيههم لممارسة أنشطة ترفيهية يدوية والتقليل قدر الإمكان من استخدام الأجهزة الإلكترونية في ظل الإجراءات الاحترازية التي تلزمهم بالبقاء في المنزل.
كما دعت الوزارة أولياء الأمور إلى تشجيع أبنائهم لرسم الشخصية البطولية المفضلة لديهم ومشاركتها على وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي من خلال وسم #الجيش_الأبيض_قطر.
