17,000 passengers and 6,300 vehicles received through Abu Samra port in Eid

Doha: Mr. Abdullah al-Jaber, who is in charge of the passenger customs department at Abu Samra port, revealed that about 17,000 passengers and 6,300 vehicles were received through the Abu Samra border crossing during the Eid al-Fitr holiday, noting that this was done in coordination with the competent authorities, the Ministry of Interior and the ministries of health, commerce and industry.

Mr. Abdullah al-Jaber, in a telephone conversation with Qatar Radio, said that requirements for the entry of goods through the Abu Samra port had been established, including:

First, truck drivers from the Salwa border crossing in Saudi Arabia must obtain a health certificate authenticated from Saudi Ministry of Health confirming a negative “Covid 19” test at least 72 hours before the entry date to Abu Samra border crossing.

Second: Drivers and foreign trucks transporting goods to Qatar through the Abu Samra border crossing are not allowed to enter the country and the goods will be unloaded and reloaded on local trucks by the importer or their representatives in the port on the prior coordination of the port administration.

Third: Trucks and drivers are returned to Salwa port in Saudi Arabia immediately after the completion of the unloading operation at the Abu Samra port.

Fourth: All importers of goods through Abu Samra port are obliged to equip appropriate local trucks to transport the goods received and notify the management of abu Samra port of the dates and numbers of trucks in advance to facilitate the entry procedures.

الدوحة: كشف السيد عبدالله الجابر المكلف بمهام رئيس قسم جمرك الركاب بمنفذ أبو سمرة، عن استقبال حوالي 17 ألف مسافر و 6300 مركبة عبر منفذ أبو سمرة الحدودي خلال فترة إجازة عيد الفطر المبارك، مشيراً إلى أن ذلك تم بالتنسيق مع الجاهت المختصة ووزارة الداخلية ووزاتي الصحة والتجارة والصناعة.

وقال السيد عبدالله الجابر، في اتصال هاتفي مع إذاعة قطر، إنه تم وضع اشستراطات لدخول البضائع عبر منفذ أبو سمرة، ومنها:

أولاً: على سائقين الشاحنات القادمة من منفذ سلوى الحدودي بالمملكة العربية السعودية الحصول على شهادة صحية مصدقة من الصحة السعودية تثبت إجراءات فحص الخلو من فيروس “كوفيد 19” لا تقل مدة صلاحيتها عن 72 ساعة قبل تاريخ دخول منفذ أبو سمرة الحدودي.

ثانياً: لا يسمح للسائقين والشاحنات الأجنبية التي تنقل بضائع إلى دولة قطر عبر منفذ أبو سمرة الحدودي بالدخول إلى الدولة وسيتم تفريغ البضائع وإعادة تحميلها على شاحنات محلية بواسطة المستورد أو من يمثله في المنفذ بناء على تنسيق مسبق من إدارة المنفذ.

ثالثاً: يتم إرجاع الشاحنات والساقين إلى منفذ سلوى في المملكة العربية السعودية مباشرة بعد إتمام عملية التفريغ في منفذ أبو سمرة.

رابعاً: يلتزم جميع المستوردين للبضائع عبر منفذ أبو سمرة بتجهيز شاحنات محلية مناسبة لنقل البضائع التي يتم استلامها وإخطار إدارة منفذ أبو سمرة بمواعيد وأرقام الشاحنات مسبقاً لتسهيل إجراءات دخول المنفذ.
