Apple to unveil new iPhone on September 12

Apple will hold an event on September 12, expected to be the annual unveiling of its new iPhones.

On Thursday the company invited journalists and analysts to an event at its California headquarters in two weeks’ time.

Apple is expected to unveil three new iPhone models, as well as a new Apple Watch and upgraded iPad tablets.

The new iPhones are all expected to follow the design of last year’s iPhone X, but will come in three different sizes as well as different colours.

Apple, which tightly guards its new products until they are announced, has a history of cryptic invitations that hint at what it will unveil, and which are closely scrutinised by followers of the company.

بعد ترقب طويل، أعلنت شركة أبل الأميركية، أمس، أنها سوف تكشف النقاب عن هواتف «آي فون» المنتظرة يوم 12 من سبتمبر المقبل.

وذكرت الشركة أن الكشف عن الهواتف الثلاثة سوف يجري خلال حفل يقام في مقر الشركة بولاية كاليفورنيا الأميركية. وحسبما أوردت صحيفة «إندبندنت» البريطانية، فإن الإعلان هذه المرة يختلف عن مناسبات سابقة كانت تكتفي فيها «أبل» بالكشف عن هاتف أو اثنين.

وتوقعت أن تكون الهواتف الثلاثة الجديدة قريبة في التصميم من هاتف «آي فون X»، الذي أطلق في 2017، لكن مع إضافات جديدة في الخصائص والحجم. وسوف تصبح الهواتف الجديدة متوفرة في عدد من الأسواق، بعد أسبوع من الحفل الرسمي في كاليفورنيا.

وذكرت تقارير -في وقت سابق- أن الهواتف الجديدة ستكون بأسعار متباينة، وأقل من ثمن هاتف «آي فون X»، الذي واجه انتقادات، بسبب ارتفاع ثمنه إلى أكثر من 1000 دولار.;
