Opening a package of projects simultaneously disrupted lives of residents of Al Furjan

Doha: Public Works Authority’s delay in implementing and completing a package of road and infrastructure projects in various residential areas and Al Furjan in the country, including Al-Gharafa, Nasiriyah, Azgoy, Al-Shahaniya area, and on the fourth ring road, and its launch of these projects once and at the same time created many problems, including closures on internal and main roads and paralyzed traffic, as well as constant traffic accidents, and caused problems in the movement of the inhabitants of those areas, including difficult access and exit.

The large number of excavations in front of houses and shops has caused damage to the residents and owners of these shops, as most of these projects have been launched since last year and have not been completed so far, which confirms that there is a delay in completion dates without any significant reasons by the Public Works Authority, especially since development projects on the main roads and residential areas need to be completed quickly because of their direct association with the daily life of the population, especially since these projects are carried out by a group of companies.

During “Al-Sharq” tour on a number of areas and residential neighborhoods and on the main roads of the country, it monitored the launch of a series of projects related to the development of infrastructure, as these projects contribute to the development of areas and the flow of traffic and delivery of services to areas, but the closures that took place for a long time without any reason led to the creation of many problems in residential areas, and on the main roads where accidents occur as a result of the accumulation of cars and frequent entrances, ports, dangerous curves and guard barriers, and the question that revolves around the minds and needs to be answered By the Public Works Authority remains, what are the reasons for the delay in completing the projects that were launched at the same time? الدوحة: تسبب تأخر هيئة الأشغال العامة في تنفيذ وإنجاز حزمة من مشاريع الطرق والبنية التحتية في مختلف المناطق السكنية والفرجان بالدولة من بينها الغرافة، والناصرية، ومنطقة ازغوى، ومنطقة الشيحانية، وعلى الطريق الدائري الرابع، وإطلاقها لهذه المشاريع مرة واحدة وفي نفس التوقيت في خلق مشكلات عديدة، منها اغلاقات في الطرق الداخلية والرئيسية وشلل الحركة المرورية، بالإضافة إلى وقوع حوادث مرورية باستمرار، كما سبب هذا التأخير مشكلات في حركة وتنقل سكان تلك المناطق بما في ذلك صعوبة الدخول إليها والخروج منها.

كما أن كثرة الحفريات أمام المنازل والمحلات التجارية سببت أضرارا للسكان وملاك هذه المحلات، اذ ان معظم تلك المشاريع انطلقت منذ العام الماضي ولم يتم انجازها حتى الآن، وهو ما يؤكد وجود تأخير في مواعيد الانجاز بدون اي اسباب تذكر من قبل هيئة الاشغال العامة، خاصة أن المشاريع التطويرية على الطرق الرئيسية والمناطق السكنية تحتاج إلى السرعة في الإنجاز لارتباطها المباشر بالحياة اليومية للسكان، خصوصا أن هذه المشاريع تقوم بتنفيذها مجموعة من الشركات.

وخلال جولة “الشرق” بعدد من المناطق والاحياء السكنية وعلى الطرق الرئيسية بالدولة، رصدت انطلاق مجموعة من المشاريع المتعلقة بتطوير البنية التحتية، حيث إن هذه المشاريع تسهم في تطوير المناطق وانسيابية الحركة المرورية وتوصيل الخدمات إلى المناطق، ولكن الاغلاقات الحاصلة والتي استمرت لوقت طويل دون أسباب تذكر ادت الى خلق الكثير من المشكلات في المناطق السكنية، وعلى الطرق الرئيسية التي تقع عليها حوادث نتيجة تكدس السيارات وكثرة المداخل والمنافذ والمنحنيات الخطيرة والحواجز الخراسانية، ويبقى السؤال الذي يدور في الأذهان ويحتاج لإجابة من قبل هيئة الأشغال العامة، ما الاسباب التي أدت إلى تأخر انجاز المشاريع التي انطلقت في نفس التوقيت؟ خاصة أن معظم تلك المشاريع لم يتم انجاز أي منها حتى الآن.
