Nasser al-Attiyah wins 2021 Andalucia Rally

Doha: Our world champion Nasser bin Saleh al-Attiyah scored a new achievement for Qatari sport, adding to his international achievements, after being crowned the title of The Andalucia Rally for the second time in a row and maintaining the title.
The 2021 FIA Rally, the first round of the 2021 World Long Distance Desert Rally (Cross Country) championship ended, which was held under the patronage of the FIA, saw a strong and exciting competition and a fierce battle between rally stars, which was held in a wonderful atmosphere between the Spanish cities of Andalusia and with the participation of (110) contestants of different nationalities.
Second place in stage four
World champion Nasser Bin Saleh al-Attiyah was crowned with his French navigator Matthew Pommel, champion of the Andalucia Rally, after winning second place in the fourth and final stage of the rally, which was full of excitement, rivalry and enthusiasm and was like a fierce battle, scoring a time of 2:05:17 minutes, behind the Spanish first place holder Carlos Sainz, and in third place came Lithuanian driver Vaidotas Zala who scored a time of 2:07:08.

الدوحة: حقق بطلنا العالمي ناصر بن صالح العطية إنجازاً جديداً للرياضة القطرية، ويضاف لرصيد إنجازاته العالمية، وذلك بعد تتويجه بلقب رالي الأندلس للمرة الثانية على التوالي ومحافظته على اللقب.
وبذلك أسدل الستار عن رالي الأندلس الذي يمثل الجولة الأولى من بطولة كأس العالم للراليات الصحراوية للمسافات الطويلة (الكروس كانتري) لعام 2021 والذي أقيم تحت مظلة الاتحاد الدولي للسيارات FIA، وقد شهدت البطولة تنافساً قويا ومثيرا ومعركة حامية الوطيس بين نجوم الراليات والتي أقيمت في أجواء رائعة بين مدن الأندلس الإسبانية وبمشاركة (110) متسابقين من مختلف الجنسيات.
المركز الثاني بالمرحلة الرابعة
وتوّج البطل العالمي ناصر بن صالح العطية بصحبة ملاحه الفرنسي ماثيو بوميل، بطلا لرالي الأندلس وذلك بعد فوزه بالمركز الثاني في المرحلة الرابعة والأخيرة من الرالي التي حفلت بالاثارة والندية والحماس وكانت أشبه بمعركة حامية الوطيس، مسجلا زمناً قدره 2:05:17 دقيقة، خلف صاحب المركز الأول الاسباني كارلوس ساينز، وجاء في المركز الثالث السائق الليتواني فايدوتاس زالا مسجلا زمنا قدره 2:07:08 ساعة.
