From proud Qatar to Jerusalem and Gaza .. Mass solidarity epic

Doha: Tens of thousands of citizens, residents and personalities from Qatar and Palestine participated in the solidarity festival with Jerusalem, Gaza and Palestine held yesterday’s evening by the International Union of Muslim Scholars under the theme “Palestine rises up” in the area of Imam Mohammed bin Abdul Wahab Mosque.
A number of prominent figures also participated in the festival, led by Ismail Haniyeh, head of Hamas’ political bureau, and Sheikh Ali Mohieddin Al-Qura Dagi, Secretary General of the International Union of Muslim Scholars.
In an epic scene of mass solidarity that embodies the support of the State of Qatar, the leadership, government and people for the Palestinian brothers and those stationed in Al-Aqsa, the flags of Qatar, Palestine and the Arab states embraced and chants were united in support of the heroes of the palestinian people in the face of the aggression of the Israeli occupation.
Al-Sharq monitored the influx of people from all regions of Qatar to gather in the outside arena of Imam Mohammed bin Abdul Wahab Mosque, where the main podium was led by chants of Qatar’s prominent and vital role in supporting the Palestinian cause over the past decades, as well as the giving of its people and their support for their Palestinian brothers on various occasions.
Speaking to the large crowd of participants in the festival, Ismail Haniyeh, head of Hamas’ political bureau, said, “The epic of pride and heroism revolves around all the land of Palestine and records facts, the most important of which is that the basis of the conflict with the enemy is Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa, and it has been, and will continue to be, inspiring for generations, a cause for uprisings and inspiring resistance.” “The Zionists wreaked havoc on our land and thought they were able to displace our people and divide the Al-Aqsa Mosque,” he said.

الدوحة: شارك عشرات الآلاف من المواطنين والمقيمين وشخصيات من قطر وفلسطين في فعاليات المهرجان التضامني مع القدس وغزة وفلسطين الذي أقامه الاتحاد العالمي لعلماء المسلمين مساء الأمس تحت شعار “فلسطين تنتفض” في منطقة جامع الإمام محمد بن عبدالوهاب.
كما شارك في المهرجان عدد من الشخصيات البارزة وفي مقدمتهم السيد إسماعيل هنية رئيس المكتب السياسي لحركة “حماس”، والشيخ الدكتور علي محيي الدين القره داغي الأمين العام للاتحاد العالمي لعلماء المسلمين.
وفي مشهد ملحمي تضامني حاشد يجسد دعم دولة قطر قيادة وحكومة وشعباً للأشقاء الفلسطينيين والمرابطين في الأقصى، تعانقت أعلام قطر وفلسطين والدول العربية وتوحدت الهتافات لدعم ومؤازرة ونصرة أبطال الشعب الفلسطيني الشقيق في مواجهة عدوان الاحتلال الإسرائيلي.
ورصد موقع الشرق توافد الجمهور من كل مناطق قطر ليجتمعوا في الساحة الخارجية لجامع الإمام محمد بن عبدالوهاب، حيث قادت المنصة الرئيسية الهتافات المشيدة بدور قطر البارز والحيوي في دعم القضية الفلسطينية على مدى العقود الماضية، فضلاً عن هبة أهلها وفزعتهم لنصرة إخوانهم الفلسطينين في مختلف المناسبات.
وفي كلمته أمام الحشد الكبير من المشاركين في المهرجان، أكد السيد إسماعيل هنية رئيس المكتب السياسي لحركة “حماس” إن “ملحمة العزة والبطولة تدور في كل أرض فلسطين وتسجل حقائق أهمها أن أساس الصراع مع العدو هو القدس والأقصى، وكانت وما زالت وستبقى ملهمة للأجيال ومفجرة للانتفاضات وملهمة للمقاومة”.. مضيفاً أن “الصهاينة عاثوا فساداً في أرضنا وظنوا أنهم قادرون على تهجير أهلنا وتقسيم المسجد الأقصى”.
