Amir, Father Amir Perform Eid Al Fitr Prayer

Doha: HH The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani performed Eid Al Fitr prayers along with citizens at the Al Wajba praying area this morning.
HH The Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani also performed the Eid prayers.
The prayers were also performed by HH Personal Representative of the Amir Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al-Thani, HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al-Thani, HE Speaker of the Shura Council Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid Al Mahmoud, a number of their Excellencies sheikhs, members of the Shura Council, and a number of their Excellencies ambassadors and heads Diplomatic missions in the country.
Sheikh Dr. Thaqeel Sayer Al-Shammari, who is a judge at the Court of Cassation and a member of the Supreme Judicial Council, delivered the Eid sermon in which he recalled the blessing of God to his worshipers on such a day, making it an Eid for the people of Islam, after completing fasting and qiyaam.
The Sheikh also demonstrated in his sermon the importance of gratitude to Allah as one of the most important places of worship for which the believers are rewarded, calling on the congregation of worshipers to increase their gratitude to Allah for the blessing of faith, and for the blessing of security, stability and reassurance.
He also called for the Ummah’s unity to stand up and lift injustice and aggression from Al-Aqsa Mosque, and support the oppressed.
The prayer was held amid precautionary measures to limit the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19).

الدوحة: أدى حضرة صاحب السمو الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني أمير البلاد المفدى صلاة عيد الفطر المبارك مع أبناء شعبه الوفي في مصلى الوجبة صباح اليوم.
كما أدى صلاة العيد صاحب السمو الأمير الوالد الشيخ حمد بن خليفة آل ثاني.
وأدى الصلاة أيضا، سمو الشيخ جاسم بن حمد آل ثاني الممثل الشخصي للأمير، وسمو الشيخ عبدالله بن خليفة آل ثاني، وسعادة السيد أحمد بن عبدالله بن زيد آل محمود رئيس مجلس الشورى، وعدد من أصحاب السعادة الشيوخ وأعضاء مجلس الشورى وعدد من أصحاب السعادة السفراء ورؤساء البعثات الدبلوماسية بالبلاد.
وألقى فضيلة الشيخ الدكتور ثقيل ساير الشمري القاضي بمحكمة التمييز عضو المجلس الأعلى للقضاء، خطبة العيد حيث ذَكَّر فيها بنعمة الله على عباده بمثل هذا اليوم الذي جعله عيدا لأهل الإسلام، بعد إتمام الصيام والقيام.
كما بين فضيلة الشيخ في خطبته أهمية شكر الله وأنه من أهم منازل العبادة التي يثاب عليها المؤمنون، داعيا جموع المصلين إلى الإكثار من شكر الله على نعمة الإيمان، وعلى نعمة الأمن والاستقرار والاطمئنان.
كما دعا فضيلته إلى توحيد الأمة للوقوف على رفع الظلم والعدوان عن المسجد الأقصى وحمايته من العدوان ونصرة المستضعفين والمظلومين.
وقد أقيمت الصلاة وسط إجراءات احترازية للحد من انتشار فيروس كورونا (كوفيد-19).
