Prime Minister meets officials taking part in Doha Forum

Doha: Prime Minister and Minister of Interior H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani met this morning a number of Their Excellencies Ministers and senior officials, on the sidelines of their participation in the 18th Doha Forum.

His Excellency met with the Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman Yousef bin Alawi bin Abdullah, the Minister of Finance of Kuwait Dr. Nayef Falah Al Hajraf, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran Dr. Mohammad Javad Zarif , the Turkish Minister of Finance Berat Albayrak and the Minister for Foreign Affairs of the sisterly Republic of Turkey Mevlut Cavusoglu.

H E the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior also met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Mongolia Damdin Tsogtbaatar , the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan Taro Kono, the Minister of Finance of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Asad Umar, and the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Ghana Ken Ofori-Atta.

H E the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior also met with the President of the United Nations General Assembly Maria Fernanda Espinosa, the Executive Director of UNICEF Relief Henrietta Fore, the UNDP Administrator Achim Steiner, HE Chief Executive Officer of Deutsche Bank Christian Sewing, the CEO the Investment in the Sultanate of Oman Abdul Salam Al Morshedi.

During the meetings, they reviewed relations of cooperation and means of developing them in various fields in addition to a number of topics on the agenda of the forum.

استقبل معالي الشيخ عبدالله بن ناصر بن خليفة آل ثاني رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الداخلية، صباح أمس، عدداً من أصحاب السعادة الوزراء وكبار المسؤولين، وذلك على هامش مشاركتهم في منتدى الدوحة الثامن عشر بفندق شيراتون.

فقد استقبل معاليه كلاً من معالي السيد يوسف بن علوي بن عبدالله الوزير المسؤول عن الشؤون الخارجية بسلطنة عمان الشقيقة، وسعادة الدكتور نايف فلاح الحجرف وزير المالية بدولة الكويت الشقيقة، وسعادة الدكتور محمد جواد ظريف وزير الخارجية في الجمهورية الإسلامية الإيرانية، وسعادة السيد برات البيراق وزير المالية، وسعادة السيد مولود جاويش أوغلو وزير الخارجية بجمهورية تركيا الشقيقة.

واستقبل معاليه أيضاً كلاً من سعادة السيد تسوغتبارتار دامدين وزير الخارجية بجمهورية منغوليا، وسعادة السيد تارو كونو وزير الخارجية الياباني، وسعادة السيد أسد عمر وزير المالية بجمهورية باكستان الإسلامية، وسعادة السيد كينيت نانا ياو افوري وزير المالية بجمهورية غانا.

كما استقبل معاليه كلاً من سعادة السيدة ماريا اسبينوسا رئيسة الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة، وسعادة السيدة هنريتا فور المديرة التنفيذية لمنظمة اليونيسيف للإغاثة، وسعادة السيد اكيم ستاينر مدير برنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي، والسيد كريستيان سوينج الرئيس التنفيذي لدوتشة بنك الألماني، وسعادة السيد عبدالسلام المرشدي رئيس جهاز الاستثمار بسلطنة عمان الشقيقة.

جرى خلال المقابلات استعراض علاقات التعاون، وسبل تنميتها وتطويرها في شتى المجالات، إضافة إلى بحث عدد من الموضوعات المدرجة على جدول أعمال المنتدى.

مأدبة غداء تكريماً لرؤساء الوفود

أقام معالي الشيخ عبدالله بن ناصر بن خليفة آل ثاني رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الداخلية، أمس، مأدبة غداء، تكريماً لأصحاب السعادة رؤساء الوفود المشاركة في أعمال منتدى الدوحة الثامن عشر المنعقد بالدوحة حالياً.;
