MoEHE: Scholarships to citizens to complete their studies in Japan

Doha: The Ministry of Education and Higher Education has announced the provision of new scholarships for those wishing to complete their university or postgraduate studies in different countries, provided by a number of friendly countries for Qatari students, and be free of tuition fees, where the list of scholarships currently available included five programs from several donors: the Omani Cultural Cooperation Program, Sultan Qaboos University and the University of Cyprus, in addition to two new grants from the Japanese Ministry of Education and Culture, and another from Comstas University of Pakistan.
The Japanese government has provided scholarships for Qatari researchers who are currently studying Master or PhD programs in various fields, in several Japanese universities, where those wishing to apply can register through the scholarship portal until June 6th, and applications will be collected and sent to the Embassy of Japan in Qatar.
The Japanese government scholarship requires the date birth to be on or after April 2, 1987, and the student must study Japanese within the first six months, and the scholarship period will be from April 1, 2022 to March 1, 2024. The Ministry of Education said that in terms of the conditions for applying for the scholarship and general requirements, students must ensure that the university to be enrolled in is on the lists of accredited universities in Qatar to study at own expense.

الدوحة: أعلنت وزارة التعليم والتعليم العالي، عن توفير منح دراسية جديدة للراغبين في استكمال دراستهم الجامعية أو الدراسات العليا في الدول المختلفة، التي تقدمها عدد من الدول الصديقة للطلاب القطريين، وتكون معفاة من الرسوم الدراسية، حيث تضمنت قائمة المنح المتاحة حاليًا 5 برامج من عدة جهات مانحة هي البرنامج العماني للتعاون الثقافي، وجامعة السلطان قابوس، وجامعة قبرص، بالإضافة إلى منحتين جديدتين مقدمة من وزارة التعليم والثقافة اليابانية، وأخرى من جامعة كومستاس الباكستانية.
وقدمت الحكومة اليابانية منحا دراسية موجهة للطلبة الباحثين القطريين الذين يدرسون حاليا برامج ماجستير أو الدكتوراه في مجالات مختلفة، بعدة جامعات يابانية، حيث يمكن للراغبين في التقدم للمنح التسجيل عبر البوابة الإلكترونية للمنح الدراسية حتى 6 يونيو المقبل، وسيتم تجميع الطلبات وإرسالها إلى سفارة اليابان في قطر.
ويشترط للتقدم لمنحة الحكومة اليابانية أن يكون الطالب من مواليد يوم 2 ابريل 1987 أو بعد هذا التاريخ، كما يشترط قيام الطالب بدراسة اللغة اليابانية خلال فترة أول 6 أشهر، وستكون فترة المنحة الدراسية من 1 ابريل 2022 إلى 1 مارس 2024. وقالت وزارة التعليم إنه بالنسبة لشروط التقدم للمنحة والمتطلبات العامة، فإنه يجب على الطالب التأكد من أن الجامعة المطلوب الالتحاق بها هي ضمن قوائم الجامعات المعتمدة في قطر للدراسة على النفقة الخاصة.
