Traffic Diversion on Part of Hazm Al Themaid Street in Al Foroush Area for 6 Months
تحويلة مرورية على جزء من شارع حزم الثميد بمنطقة الفروش لمدة 6 أشهر
The Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ announces a traffic diversion on Part of Hazm Al Themaid Street located in Al Foroush Area where traffic will be diverted to a newly constructed parallel street, starting from Tuesday, March 5, 2019 and for 6 months, in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic.
Drivers coming from Al Kharaitiyat Area can use the alternative road, which has one lane in each direction, heading to the open part of Hazm Al Themaid Street or to Al Rufaa Street (known as Celebration Road).Drivers coming from Al Themaid Area can use the alternative road to reach Al Kharaitiyat Area, and it is worth mentioning that the alternative road includes two roundabouts to facilitate local access to the existing petrol station and schools in the area, as shown in the attached map.
This diversion aims at upgrading Hazm Al Themaid Street to serve the new residential areas within Al Foroush and Kharatiyat through providing connectivity to Al Rufaa Street for the residents in the future, as part of the roads and infrastructure project in Al Foroush and Kharaitiyat.
Ashghal will install road signs to advise motorists of the diversion. The authority requests all road users to abide by the speed limits, and follow the road signs to ensure their and others safety.
تعلن هيئة الأشغال العامة “أشغال” عن تنفيذ تحويلة مرورية على جزء من شارع حزم الثميد بمنطقة الفروش حيث يمكن استخدام الطريق البديل الموازي له اعتباراً من يوم الثلاثاء الموافق 5 مارس 2019 ولمدة ستة أشهر بالتنسيق مع الإدارة العامة للمرور.
وعليه يتعين على مستخدمي الطريق القادمين من منطقة الخريطيات استخدام الطريق البديل المكون من مسار واحد في كل اتجاه للوصول إلى الجزء غير المغلق من شارع حزم الثميد وشارع الرفاع (المعروف بشارع الاحتفالات) كما سيمكن لمستخدمي الطريق القادمين من منطقة الثميد استخدام الطريق البديل للوصول الى منطقة الخريطيات. ويشمل الطريق البديل دوارين لتسهيل الوصول إلى محطة الوقود والمدرستين القائمتين بالمنطقة، كما هو موضح في المخطط المرفق.
ويهدف التحويل المروري إلى تحديث وتطوير طريق حزم الثميد لخدمة الأراضي السكنية الجديدة بمنطقة الفروش والخريطيات وتسهيل الوصول لشارع الرفاع لسكان المنطقة مستقبلاً، وذلك ضمن أعمال مشروع الطرق والبنية التحتية في الفروش والخريطيات.
ستقوم “أشغال” بتركيب اللوحات الإرشادية اللازمة لتنبيه مستخدمي الطريق والسائقين، مشددة على ضرورة الالتزام بحدود السرعة المسموحة واتباع اللوحات الإرشادية حفاظاً على سلامتهم.
