Rough traffic accidents in residential areas

Doha: The phenomenon of rough traffic accidents occurring in residential areas has worsened, where a number of citizens confirmed that there is a significant increase in traffic accidents that occur within residential neighborhoods that cause severe damage to cars and often drivers are severely injured, pointing out that the reason for such incidents is the recklessness of drivers who drive at a crazy speed inside these neighborhoods, especially as they pass through intersections.

Citizens explained that the best solution to avoid such accidents, requires increasing the number of artificial bumps on intersections, in addition to traffic awareness that works to educate drivers about traffic safety, pointing out that the provision of surveillance cameras in the internal streets that witness traffic accidents also contributes to reducing them, especially since they occur mainly as a result of the recklessness of some drivers.

الدوحة: تفاقمت ظاهرةُ الحوادث المروريّة الخشنة التي تقع في المناطق السكنية، حيث أكّد عددٌ من المُواطنين أن هُناك ارتفاعًا كبيرًا في الحوادث المروريّة التي تقع داخل الأحياء السكنية التي تتسبّب بأضرارٍ بالغةٍ للسيارات وأحيانًا كثيرة يتعرض السّائقون فيها إلى إصاباتٍ شديدة، مُشيرينَ إلى أنّ السبب الذي يُؤدّي لوقوع مثل هذه الحوادث هو تهوُّر السّائقين الذين يَقُودون بسرعة جنونيّة داخل هذه الأحياء، وخصوصًا أثناء مرورِهم من التّقاطعات.

وأوضح المُواطنونَ أنّ الحل الأمثل لتفادي وقوع مثل هذه الحوادث، يتطلب زيادة عدد المطبّات الاصطناعيّة على التقاطعات، بالإضافة إلى التوعية المروريّة التي تعمل على تثقيف السائقين بالسلامة المروريّة، لافتين إلى أنَّ توفير كاميرات المُراقبة في الشوارع الداخليّة التي تشهد وقوع الحوادث المرورية يُساهم أيضًا في الحدّ منها، خاصة أنها تقع في الأساس نتيجة تهوُّر بعض السائقين.
