EU reveals date of “Covid-19 passports” adoption
الاتحاد الأوروبي يكشف موعد اعتماد “جوازات كوفيد-١٩”
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has revealed when the EU’s “Covid-19 passport” system will be launched.
EU statement said: “The Vaccine Certification system (Covid-19) could gain its legitimacy in the European Union early in June, and the legal and technical preparation of the case is in full swing.
“A political agreement on the introduction of the Covid-19 passport system could be concluded even before the end of May,” it said, according to RT.
“To obtain this document, a person will need to provide evidence that they have been vaccinated, when they got sick or have antibodies, and it will also be possible to provide a negative Covid-19 test.
“The EU is ready to receive all tourists and at the same time, one of the important conditions remains that they receive the vaccine allowed in the EU,” the President of the European Commission said in An interview with The New York Times in April.
The European Medicines Agency (EMA) has approved four vaccines: The American-German Pfizer and BioNTech, the U.S. Moderna Vaccine, the British-Swedish AstraZeneca vaccine, and the American Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
كشفت رئيسة المفوضية الأوروبية أورسولا فون دير لاين، عن موعد إطلاق نظام العمل بـ”جوازات كوفيد” بين دول الاتحاد الأوروبي.
وورد في بيان عن المفوضية: “يمكن لنظام شهادات التطعيم ضد (كوفيد – 19) أن يكسب شرعيته في الاتحاد الأوروبي في وقت مبكر من يونيو، والإعداد القانوني والفني لهذه القضية يسير على قدم وساق”.
وأضافت: “يمكن إبرام اتفاق سياسي بشأن إدخال نظام جوازات كوفيد حتى قبل نهاية شهر مايو”، وفقا لموقع “RT”.
وتابعت: “للحصول على هذه الوثيقة، سيحتاج الشخص إلى تقديم دليل على أنه قد تم تطعيمه أو مرضه أو لديه أجسام مضادة، وسيكون من الممكن أيضا، تقديم اختبار سلبي لفيروس كورونا”.
وأعلنت رئيس المفوضية الأوروبية في أبريل الماضي في مقابلة مع صحيفة “نيويورك تايمز”، أن “الاتحاد الأوروبي مستعد لاستقبال جميع السياح وفي الوقت ذاته، يبقى أحد الشروط المهمة لذلك تلقيه اللقاح المسموح به في الاتحاد الأوروبي”
ووافقت وكالة الأدوية الأوروبية (EMA) على 4 لقاحات هي لقاح “فايزر وبيونتيك” الأمريكي الألماني المشترك، ولقاح شركة “مودرنا” الأمريكي، ولقاح شركة “أسترازينيكا” البريطاني السويدي، بالإضافة إلى لقاح شركة “جونسون آند جونسون” الأمريكي.
