Temporary Closure on Part of Al Hurriya Street in Al Khor
إغلاق مؤقت لجزء من شارع الحرية في الخور
The Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ announces that it will implement a temporary closure on part of Al Hurriya Street, located behind the “Lulu Hypermarket” in Al Khor. The closure extends for 20 metres only in both directions, at the intersection of Al Hurriya Street with Ras Al Qirma Street. The closure will start on Tuesday, 13 March, 2018 and will last for a period of 60 days, in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic.
During this period, traffic heading to Al Amir Street and Ras Al Qirma Street via Al Hurriya Street can use the neighboring local roads, as shown on the attached map.
The traffic change is required to enable the works of laying Sewer rising mains as part of design, build, operate and maintain of Al Thakhira Sewage Treatment Works, Transfer Pumping Station and Associated Pipelines.
Ashghal will install road signs to advice motorists of the closure. The authority requests all road users to abide by the speed limits, and follow the road signs to ensure their and others safety.
تعلن هيئة الأشغال العامة “أشغال” عن تنفيذ إغلاق مؤقت لجزء من شارع الحرية خلف “اللولو هايبر ماركت” في الخور، ويمتد هذا الجزء لمسافة 20 متر فقط في الاتجاهين عند تقاطع شارع الحرية مع شارع رأس القرمة. يبدأ الإغلاق يوم الثلاثاء 13 مارس 2018 ويستمر لمدة 60 يوماً، بالتنسيق مع الإدارة العامة للمرور.
وخلال هذه الفترة، يمكن للمتجهون إلى شارع الأمير وشارع رأس القرمة عبر شارع الحرية استخدام الطرق المحلية المجاورة، كما هو موضح بالخريطة المرفقة.
تهدف التحويلة المرورية إلى إتاحة المجال أمام تنفيذ أعمال تمديد أنابيب مياه الصرف ضمن مشروع تصميم وإنشاء وتشغيل وصيانة محطة معالجة مياه الصرف الصحي بالذخيرة، وتحويل محطة الضخ والأنابيب المرتبطة بها.
ستقوم هيئة الأشغال العامة بتركيب اللوحات الإرشادية لتنبيه مستخدمي الطريق بهذا الإغلاق، وتهيب بجميع مستخدمي الطريق الالتزام بحدود السرعة المسموحة واتباع اللوحات الإرشادية حفاظاً على سلامتهم.
