Foreign Minister meets French counterpart
وزير الخارجية يلتقي نظيره الفرنسي
HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani met yesterday in Paris with Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs of France Jean-Yves Le Drian. During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations and means of developing them, besides topics of mutual interest. They also discussed the Declaration of Intent on the establishment of a strategic dialogue between the two countries signed in February that includes defence and security, health, education, culture, sports, economy and investment, and the fight against terrorism and extremism. The dialogue will play a prominent role in opening up prospects for enhancing co-operation and monitoring its development in all fields for the benefit of both countries and peoples.
قطر وفرنسا تناقشان إعلان النوايا بشأن الحوار الاستراتيجي المشترك
اجتمع سعادة الشيخ محمد بن عبدالرحمن آل ثاني نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الخارجية، أمس، في باريس مع سعادة السيد جان إيف لودريان وزير أوروبا والشؤون الخارجية بالجمهورية الفرنسية، وذلك خلال الزيارة التي يقوم بها سعادته إلى فرنسا.
جرى خلال الاجتماع بحث العلاقات الثنائية، وسبل دعمها وتطويرها، بالإضافة إلى عدد من المواضيع ذات الاهتمام المشترك.
كما تمت مناقشة إعلان النوايا بشأن إقامة حوار استراتيجي بين البلدين، الذي تم توقيعه في فبراير الماضي، ويشمل مجالات عديدة، كالدفاع والأمن، والصحة، والتعليم، والثقافة، والرياضة، والاقتصاد والاستثمار، ومكافحة الإرهاب والتطرف.
وسيضطلع هذا الحوار بدور بارز في فتح الآفاق أمام تعزيز التعاون، ومتابعة تطورها في كل المجالات لمصلحة البلدين والشعبين الصديقين.
