QC Continues to Implement ‘Feed the Fasting’ Project Worldwide

Doha: Qatar Charity (QC) has started implementing the ‘Feed the Fasting’ project in 33 countries, including Qatar, by distributing food packages and ready-to-eat Iftar meals.
The distribution has begun on the first day of Ramadan, as part of Qatar Charity’s ‘Ramadan of Hope’ drive. Qatar Charity, with the support of donors in Qatar, seeks to benefit 1.6 million people from its Ramadan projects at an estimated cost of 56.7 million Qatari Riyals.
In Turkey, on the first day of Ramadan, Qatar Charity, in cooperation with the municipalities in Turkey, has started distributing Iftar meals to Syrian refugees, Turkish low-income households, the families of the orphans sponsored by Qatar Charity, and widows in the provinces of Gaziantep, Kilis, Sanliurfa, Skudar, and Istanbul.
Qatar Charity aims to distribute more than 90,000 Iftar meals for the benefit of 18,000 families.
Within Syria, Qatar Charity, through its Turkey office, has started distributing nearly 3,157 food baskets to internally displaced persons living in the camps of Salqin and Harem in northern Syria. The food basket is sufficient for a beneficiary family for a whole month.
In Kyrgyzstan, Qatar Charity’s field team has distributed 18,060 meals to poor families and the families of orphans and persons with special needs in Choi, Nary, Batken, Jalal-Abad.
The meals were also distributed to doctors on duty in the COVID hospitals, workers in the field hospitals, and cleaners. The distribution took place in coordination with the Ministry of Social Development, local authorities, and municipalities.
While in Palestine, especially in the Gaza Strip, Qatar Charity began distributing food baskets to 5,500 poor families sponsored under the social welfare program.

الدوحة: واصلت/قطر الخيرية/ تنفيذ مشروع إفطار الصائم في إطار حملة رمضان للعام 1442هـ /رمضان الأمل/ منذ الأيام الأولى للشهر الكريم ، عبر مكاتبها الميدانية وشركائها في 33 دولة عبر العالم /بما فيها قطر/.
ويتم تقديم الإفطار على شكل سلال غذائية ووجبات إفطار جاهزة ، وتستهدف هذه المشاريع بدعم الخيرين الوصول إلى 1.6 مليون شخص خارج قطر ، بتكلفة يتوقع أن تصل إلى 56.7 مليون ريال.
ففي تركيا بدأت قطر الخيرية مع أول يوم من أيام الشهر الفضيل بالتعاون مع البلديات ، في توزيع وجبات /إفطار الصائم/ على كل من اللاجئين السوريين والعوائل التركية من ذوي الدخل المحدود وأسر الأيتام المكفولين لدى قطر الخيرية والأرامل في 4 ولايات تركية، هي غازي عنتاب، كليس، شانلي أورفا، واسكودار في ولاية إسطنبول.
وتهدف قطر الخيرية إلى توزيع ما يزيد عن 90 ألف وجبة إفطار ليستفيد منها نحو 18000 عائلة.
كما باشرت قطر الخيرية في توزيع نحو 3157 سلة غذائية على النازحين في مخيمات سلقين وحارم في ريف إدلب شمال سوريا ، وتكفي السلة الغذائية الأسرة لمدة شهر كامل، لتأمين احتياجاتهم الأساسية من الغذاء طيلة شهر رمضان المبارك.
وعلى صعيد متصل قام فريق قطر الخيرية الميداني في جمهورية قرغيزيا منذ مطلع الشهر الكريم بتوزيع 18060 وجبة غذائية على الأسر الفقيرة وأسر الأيتام والمعاقين في كل منطقة تشوي – نارين – باتكين – جلال آباد.
و شمل توزيع إفطار الصائم الأطباء المناوبين في المشافي المغلقة المخصصة للمصابين بفيروس كورونا، وبعض العاملين في المستشفيات الميدانية وعمال النظافة المناوبين. وتم ذلك بالتنسيق مع وزارة التنمية الاجتماعية والسلطات المحلية والبلديات.
وفي فلسطين بدأت قطر الخيرية بتوزيع إفطار الصائم في قطاع غزة على 5500 أسرة فقيرة مكفولة ضمن برنامج الرعاية الاجتماعية.
