Doha: HE Chairperson of the Qatar Leadership Center Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad Al-Thani, chaired the first quarter of this year meeting of the Board of Directors of the Qatar Leadership Center, which was held via video conference technology.
The meeting was attended by HE Vice President Managing Director Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Ali bin Saud Al Thani, and both members of the Board of Directors and executive management at the center. They discussed the achievements accomplished in the first quarter, according to the goals and plans for the current year, and took the appropriate decisions regarding them.
The leadership programs that are offered in the current academic year for associates and the efficiency of their content were discussed in terms of modules specially prepared to suit distance learning, through video conference technology and in cooperation with international academic partners such as Georgetown University, Harvard, Duke, and others.
The meeting reviewed the plan and stages of registration for the third session of the Executive Masters in Leadership-Qatar (EML-Q) program for the year 2021, which will start next September.
The centers management affirmed its commitment to the precautionary measures of the Ministry of Public Health while continuing to implement programs in a manner that keeps pace with the current situation, and using virtual technologies as an effective tool in executive education.

الدوحة: ترأست سعادة الشيخة المياسة بنت حمد آل ثاني رئيس مجلس إدارة مركز قطر للقيادات، اجتماع الربع الأول من العام الجاري لمجلس إدارة مركز قطر للقيادات، الذي عقد عبر تقنية الاتصال المرئي.
شارك في الاجتماع، سعادة الشيخ الدكتور عبد الله بن علي بن سعود آل ثاني نائب رئيس مجلس الإدارة والعضو المنتدب، وكل من أعضاء مجلس الإدارة والإدارة التنفيذية في المركز، حيث تمت مناقشة إنجازات الربع الأول حسب الأهداف والخطط للعام الحالي وتم اتخاذ القرارات المناسبة بشأنها.
كما تمت مناقشة برامج القيادات التي يتم طرحها في العام الدراسي الحالي للمنتسبين وكفاءة محتواها، من حيث الوحدات التي تم إعدادها خصيصاً لتلائم التعلم عن بعد، من خلال تقنية الاتصال المرئي وبالتعاون مع الشركاء الأكاديميين العالميين كجامعة جورجتاون وهارفارد وديوك وغيرها.
واستعرض الاجتماع خطة ومراحل التسجيل للدورة الثالثة لبرنامج الماجستير التنفيذي في القيادة قطر /EML-Q/ للعام 2021، والذي سيبدأ في سبتمبر المقبل.
وأكدت إدارة المركز على الالتزام بالإجراءات الاحترازية لوزارة الصحة العامة مع الاستمرارية بتنفيذ البرامج بشكل يواكب الوضع الراهن، واستخدام التقنيات الافتراضية كأداة فعالة في التعليم التنفيذي.
