Amir leaves Pakistan after two-day state visit

Islamabad: The Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani left Islamabad today, ending a two-day state visit to Pakistan.
The Amir was seen off on departure at Nur Khan Airbase airport by Special Adviser to Pakistani Prime Minister for Foreign Affairs Zulfi Bukhari, as well as a number of senior officials, Qatar’s Ambassador to Pakistan Saqr bin Mubarak Al Mansouri, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Qatar Syed Ahsan Raza Shah and members of the Qatari Embassy.
“The ties of brotherhood between Qatar and Pakistan are solid and rooted, and the path of cooperation between us is not limited to the accumulation of common achievements. We have had fruitful discussions and signed new understandings to support this process as we discussed the most important crises in the region and the world and the need to settle them with dialogue instead of force,” the Amir tweeted with pictures from the tour.
The Amir sent cables to President of Pakistan Dr Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Imran Khan, expressing deep thanks and appreciation for the hospitality and honor accorded to him and the accompanying delegation during the visit which allowed the exchange of views on issues of common concern and the review of bilateral relations as well as ways to support and develop them in various fields for the good and the benefit of the two peoples.
The Amir also wished the President and the Prime Minister the best of health and happiness, and the friendly people of Pakistan further progress and prosperity.
غادر حضره صاحب السمو الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني أمير البلاد المفدى، بعد ظهر اليوم العاصمة إسلام آباد، بعد زيارة دولة لجمهورية باكستان الإسلامية استغرقت يومين.
وكان في وداع سموه لدى مغادرته مطار قاعدة نور خان الجوية، سعادة السيد زلفي بخاري المستشار الخاص لدولة رئيس الوزراء الباكستاني للشؤون الخارجية وعدد من كبار المسؤولين وسعادة السيد صقر بن مبارك المنصوري سفير دولة قطر لدى باكستان، وسعادة السيد سيد أحسن رضا شاه سفير باكستان لدى الدولة والسادة أعضاء السفارة القطرية.
وبعث سمو الأمير المفدى ببرقية الى كل من فخامة الرئيس الدكتور عارف علوي رئيس جمهورية باكستان الإسلامية والى دولة السيد عمران خان رئيس الوزراء أعرب فيهما عن خالص الشكر والتقدير لما قوبل به والوفد المرافق من حفاوة وتكريم طوال الزيارة التي جرى خلالها تبادل وجهات النظر حول القضايا ذات الاهتمام المشترك واستعراض العلاقات الثنائية المتينة بين البلدين وسبل دعمها وتطويرها في شتى المجالات ، لما فيه خير ومصلحة الشعبين الشقيقين متمنيا لفخامة الرئيس ولدولة رئيس الوزراء بموفور الصحة والسعادة ولشعب باكستان الشقيق المزيد من التقدم والازدهار.
