وتقام مباريات الدوري والكأس الإيطاليين ومسابقتي دوري الأبطال والدوري الأوروبي “يوروبا ليغ” من دون جمهور هذا الموسم بسبب تداعيات فيروس كورونا/ كوفيد-19/، لكن إيطاليا وجدت نفسها تحت ضغط كبير من الاتحاد الأوروبي لكرة القدم (ويفا) من أجل السماح بحضور الجمهور ولو بعدد محدود خلال المباريات المقررة الصيف المقبل على أرضها في كأس أوروبا التي أرجئت من 2020 بسبب هذا الفيروس.
وقال السيد غابرييلي غرافينا رئيس الاتحاد الإيطالي لكرة القدم، إن الحصول على موافقة حكومة بلاده لحضور الجمهور في مباريات كأس أوروبا 2020 في روما أخبار رائعة سننقلها فوراً الى /ويفا/.
وكان من المقرر أن تقام كأس أوروبا الصيف الماضي في 12 مدينة من 12 دولة لكن فيروس كورونا تسبب بإرجائها لعام لتقام بين 11 يونيو و حتى 11 من شهر يوليو المقبلين.
وتستضيف روما مباريات إيطاليا في دور المجموعات، حيث تلتقي تركيا وسويسرا وويلز، إضافة الى إحدى مباريات الدور ربع النهائي.
