Amiri Air Force participates in UK air show

The Qatar Amiri Air Force has taken part in the Yeovilton International Air Day 2018, which is organised by the Royal Air Force in the UK on the sidelines of its centenary celebrations. The Qatar Amiri Air Force participated in the exhibition with the transport aircraft C-130J, QNA reported yesterday. Captain Fahad Issa al-Kuwari stressed the importance of taking part in such events, noting that the participation came on the directives of HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs Dr Khalid bin Mohamed al-Attiyah. The exhibition was attended by the military attache of Qatar in London, Brig Gen Hamad Jassim al-Marri.

شاركت القوات الجوية الأميرية القطرية بمعرض يوفيلتون للطيران، التابع لسلاح الجو الملكي البريطاني بالمملكة المتحدة البريطانية، على هامش احتفال سلاح الجو الملكي البريطاني بعامهم المئوي.

خصصت القوات الجوية الأميرية القطرية طائرة النقل «C130J» للمشاركة في المعرض.

وأكد قائد العرض النقيب طيار فهد عيسى الكواري على أهمية المشاركة في هذه المحافل، وأنها تأتي بتوجيهات سعادة الدكتور خالد بن محمد العطية نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الدولة لشؤون الدفاع، وحرصه على ظهور قطر والقوات المسلحة القطرية بالشكل المشرف.
