والجدير بالذكر أن الريان كان يرغب في التعاقد مع مانزوكيتش في فترة الانتقالات الصيفية الماضية ولكن المفاوضات توقفت بين الطرفين، وصرف الريان النظر عن التعاقد معه ليبقى اللاعب بدون مشاركة في المباريات منذ نهاية الموسم الماضي نظرا لان الإيطالي سارى مدرب اليوفى لا يعتمد عليه ضمن قائمة الفريق هذا الموسم.
