An addict of the famous “PUBG” game in the Pakistani city of Lahore re-enacted a scene from the game in his real life, killing a number of his family members.
According to ARY News, a man named Bilal, an addict to the game, shot his sister-in-law, friend, mother, sister and brother, killing two and injuring three others in the operation.
According to Russia Today, surveillance cameras spotted Bilal wearing a helmet and jacket resembling one of the jackets in the game, before he started shooting at his family.
District Police Chief Omar Baloch said the accused was addicted to PUBG, and that his family members used to prevent him from playing the game.
“The accused recreated a scene in from (PUBG), after a quarrel with his family that day, brought a gun and shot his family,” Baloch said.

وحسب موقع ARY News، أطلق رجل اسمه بلال وهو من مدمني اللعبة المذكورة النار على أخت زوجته وصديقه ووالدته وشقيقته وشقيقه، ما أدى إلى مقتل اثنين وإصابة ثلاثة آخرين في العملية.
ووفق ما نقله موقع “روسيا اليوم” فإن كاميرات المراقبة رصدت بلال وهو يرتدي خوذة وسترة تشبه إحدى السترات الموجودة في اللعبة، قبل أن يبدأ بإطلاق النار على أهله.
وقال مدير الشرطة في المنطقة عمر بلوش، إن المتهم كان مدمنا على لعبة “ببجي”، وأن أفراد عائلته اعتادوا على منعه من ممارسة اللعبة.
واعتبر بلوش أن “المتهم أعاد إنشاء مشهد ببجي (PUBG)، بعد شجار مع أفراد عائلته في ذلك اليوم، وأحضر مسدسا وأطلق النار منه على عائلته”.
