Consumers await the decisions of the committee to set the maximum prices

Many citizens expressed satisfaction with the decision of the Council of Ministers at its last meeting regarding the formation of the committee to set maximum prices and profit ratios, which will undoubtedly aim to serve all parties, and to achieve the interest of merchants without harming the purchasing power of consumers.

Others stressed the importance of activating the role of the Consumer Protection Department at the level of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, to circulate the decision to all commercial centers, and to expand inspection campaigns on shops and outlets to ensure their commitment to the new decisions.

أبدى العديد من المواطنين ارتياحهم لقرار مجلس الوزراء في اجتماعه الأخير فيما يتعلق بتشكيل لجنة تعيين الحد الأقصى للأسعار ونسب الأرباح، والتي ستهدف من دون أي أدنى شك إلى خدمة جميع الأطراف، وتحقيق مصلحة التجار دون الإضرار بالقدرة الشرائية للمستهلكين.

في حين أكد البعض الآخر منهم أهمية تفعيل دور إدارة حماية المستهلك على مستوى وزارة التجارة والصناعة، لتعميم القرار على جميع المراكز التجارية، والتوسع في الحملات التفتيشية على المحال التجارية ومنافذ البيع للتأكد من التزامها بالقرارات الجديدة.
