Capitals: American Augustine Allanis broke the Guinness World Record after watching “Avengers: Endgame” 191 times in theaters.
Alanis shared a photo on his Twitter account in which he is seen holding his Guinness certificate and his picture with the avengers placed next to him, with a caption: “I’m officially amazing! I won the Guinness Book of World Records for the ‘Most Cinema Production Attended – Same Film Record’.
Alanis is largely fond of the character of Steve Rogers, better known in the film as “Captain America”, which was portrayed by American actor Chris Evans. According to a statement posted by Guinness on its website.
In statements to Guinness, Alanis explained that he considers Rogers a figure who represents many of the values he reveres, such as righteousness, kindness and thinking about others before himself, such values were displayed throughout this Marvel series, Alanis said.
He explained that the hardest part in his quest to set the record was to give up his social life with his family and reduce his time in the gym, as well as to manage his hours to suit the film’s screening times.

ونشر ألانيس صورة له -برفقة شهادة جينيس وبجواره صورته مع فريق عمل الفيلم- عبر حسابه على تويتر، وعلّق عليها قائلًا: أنا مذهل رسميًا! حُزت لقب موسوعة جينيس للأكثر حضورًا لنفس الفيلم».
وبحسب بيان نشرته جينيس عبر موقعها، فإن ألانيس متعلّق بشكل كبير بشخصية ستيف روجرز، والمعروف في الفيلم بـ «كابتن أمريكا»، التي جسدها الممثل الأمريكي كريس إيفانز.
وأوضح ألانيس -في تصريحات لجينيس- أنه يعتبر «روجرز» شخصية تمثل العديد من القيم التي يقدّسها، مثل البرّ واللطف والتفكير في الآخرين قبل نفسه، وهي قيم ظهرت على مدار سلسلة أفلامه مع شركة مارفل، وَفق قول ألانيس.
وأوضح أنّ أصعب جزء في سعيه نحو تسجيل الرقم القياسي كان في التخلّي عن حياته الاجتماعية مع عائلته وتراجع أوقاته في الصالة الرياضية، إضافةً إلى إدارة ساعات عمله لتناسب أوقات عرض الفيلم.
