Al Duhail Coach: We Aim to Continue the Good Results

Doha: Al Duhail coach Sabri Lamouchi spoke to the media ahead of their 2020-21 season QNB Stars League Week 20 match against Al Arabi on Saturday.

“Al Arabi are an improved team in recent times. We are preparing well for them after the return of our international players from their participation with their respective national teams. This period was good preparation and we will see in the last training session how ready we are for the Al Arabi clash. We want to achieve continuity in the good results that we have managed recently.

“We want to return to QSL competition as we ended it before the break. We must be careful in dealing with the situation of international players who showed a good level with the national team, whether in individual or collective performances. We have to deal with their situation. We know that the coming period will be a lot of pressure for players from three back-to-back matches in the league.

“What is required is that these players are ready and well prepared. We need to go into such matches well prepared and we must talk about the performance of the team. We want positive results.

“The performance of international players Almoez Ali and Karim Boudiaf was distinguished. Montari scored twice and Bassam Al Rawi continued to provide good matches, in addition to the good form of Abdullah Al Ahraq and Assim Madibo,” said Lamouchi.

For his part, Al Arabi coach Heimir Hallgrimsson said: “My team is ready for the Al Duhail match. Our preparations proceeded normally, especially during the break. Some teams got rest, but we did not rest and went through good training as we want to improve.

“I commend the spirit of the players for their desire to improve and they are ready to work more for themselves and for the club. I am happy that we took advantage of these three weeks as we tried to keep the fitness level high and now we start to focus on the tactical matters of Al Duhail match.

“I know the team’s position well and of course we are trying to win the remaining three games, but this is still not enough to compete for the top four. There are Al Rayyan, Al Gharafa, Qatar SC and Al Ahli teams who have more opportunities than us, so it is up to them and in their hands, not us,” said Hallgrimsson.

الدوحة: أكد الفرنسي صبري لموشي، مدرب فريق الدحيل، أن مواجهة فريقه ضد العربي اليوم /السبت / ستكون قوية وتنافسية، لافتا إلى رغبة لاعبيه في تحقيق الفوز وحصد ثلاث نقاط تعزز مركزهم في وصافة الدوري .

وقال لموشي، في المؤتمر الصحفي الذي عقد الأمس، “إن العربي فريق متطور، ويقدم مستوى جيدا، و نحن جاهزون للمباراة، ونأمل أن نحقق الفوز لمواصلة النتائج الجيدة… هناك ضغط مباريات كبير، كما تنتظرنا مباريات في دوري أبطال آسيا خلال شهر رمضان بمدينة جدة حيث الرطوبة وارتفاع درجة الحرارة”، مضيفا “نحن في مرحلة نهاية الموسم.. والمطلوب أن نجهز اللاعبين جيدا لخوض تلك المباريات، كما يجب علينا أن نتحدث عن أداء المنتخب الذي جاء إيجابيا كما نتائجه، مثلما كان أداء المعز وكريم بوضياف مميزا” .

وأشار المدرب الفرنسي للدحيل إلى أنه سيضع التشكيلة المناسبة والقادرة على الفوز في مباراة اليوم دون النظر لخسارة العربي أمام السد والريان.

من جهته، أكد الايسلندي هيمير هالجريمسون، مدرب العربي، جاهزية فريقه لمواجهة الدحيل، قائلا “استعداداتنا سارت بشكل جيد خلال فترة التوقف الأخيرة والتي امتدت لثلاثة أسابيع، ونسعى لترجمة ذلك خلال المرحلة المقبلة اعتبارا من مباراة الدحيل”.

وعن ترتيب فريقه وإمكانية دخوله المربع الذهبي في نهاية الموسم، لفت مدرب العربي إلى أن مسألة دخول المربع الذهبي لم تعد بأيدي لاعبيه فقط، وحتى اذا نجحوا في الفوز بالمباريات الثلاث المتبقية من عمر الدوري، لن يكون ذلك كافيا لهم لتحقيق الهدف إلا بعد انتظار نتائج الفرق المنافسة، مبينا أن ذلك لن يمنعهم من اللعب من أجل تحقيق الفوز في المباريات المقبلة وحصد النقاط التسع المتبقية.

كما بين المدرب الايسلندي أن “الأهم من الفوز في المباريات المقبلة هو رغبتنا في تقديم أداء جيد، وقد لعبنا مباريات جيدة مؤخرا وقدمنا أداء طيبا كفريق، وتحسننا منذ بداية الموسم ونود أن نستمر في ذلك، وفي نفس الوقت إذا نجحنا في حصد تسع نقاط من المباريات الثلاث المقبلة، سيكون ذلك رائعا لكن أداء المباريات الثلاث الأخيرة بشكل جيد هو الأهم”.
