Al-Sharq: Unhealthy cooking methods are being used in some restaurants
الشرق: بعض المطاعم تتبع أساليب غير صحية في تحضير الأغذية

A number of citizens expressed their displeasure with the poor condition of food provided by some restaurants, a poor condition caused by the failure of these restaurants to follow healthy methods when preparing food, especially foods that are deep-fried in oil. They assured to Al-Sharq that it is a risk, and they hold the competent authorities responsible for this situation.
They demanded the need to tighten control over restaurants, and sudden and continuous inspection campaigns to ensure compliance with safety standards.
They stressed that this disaster is not limited to popular and traditional restaurants only, but also includes many large and well-known restaurants as well.

أعرب عدد من المواطنين عن استيائهم من سوء حالة المواد الغذائية التي تقدمها بعض المطاعم، هذه الحالة السيئة ناتجة عن عدم اتباع هذه المطاعم الطرق الصحية عند تجهيز المواد الغذائية خاصة الأطعمة التي يتم قليها في الزيت.
واكدوا لـ الشرق انهم يحملون المسؤولية في هذا الخطر الى الجهات المختصة التي لا تتعامل مع هذا الامر بصرامة رغم انه يتسبب في امراض خطيرة.
وطالبوا بضرورة تشديد الرقابة على المطاعم والقيام بحملات تفتيش فجائية وبصفة مستمرة واخذ عينات عشوائية من المواد التي تستهلكها المطاعم واخضاعها للتحليل للتأكد من مدى مطابقتها لمعايير السلامة. مؤكدين ان هذه الكارثة لا تقتصر على المطاعم الشعبية فقط بل تشمل العديد من المطاعم الكبيرة والمعروفة.
